Palin: Obama's 'fear mongering'

(CNN) - Sarah Palin accused President Obama of "scaring" the American people over the importance of raising the debt ceiling before the August 2 deadline.

"Scaring the American people is exactly what President Obama is doing," Palin said Tuesday night on Fox News. "The president's getting pretty good at this fear mongering and trying to cram down the public's throat this idea of bigger government, more spending."

Although the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee said she respects House Speak John Boehner's efforts to negotiate with the president, she said there is a larger problem with his strategy.

"The internal problem that he has is reinventing the wheel here in the 11th hour, when we already have Cut, Cap and Balance that passed the House, and we don't need to retreat now and wave a white flag," Palin said.

The Republican-controlled House passed "Cut, Cap, and Balance," a plan that failed to pass the Democratic-controlled Senate last week. The pledge includes cuts and caps in spending and a balanced budget amendment to the constitution. Boehner is now trying to put forward a plan that includes the framework of the pledge in a deal that could become law. Obama is advocating for a "balanced approach" to the crisis that would combine spending cuts and no extension of Bush-era tax cuts for families making more than $250,000 a year.

Palin, who is considering a bid for the White House in 2012, has said raising the debt ceiling is inevitable, but that Republicans "better get something out of it."

"This August 2 deadline is looming, but it's not Armageddon, it's not life-or-death, so Boehner and the Republicans have got to make sure that they've got a good plan in front of those who will be voting on this plan," Palin said.

Look at the picture at the top of the story. It would appear Ms.Palin is responding to someone who posed the question,"What do you know about anything?" Her hand gesture suggests,"Oh about this much."

Does anyone really care what this bimbo is saying, really? I mean, I only read half the story, just because she is so stupid – I almost can't believe how stupid she is. Keep slinging, Palin. It is mildly ironic that she is accusing Obama of what she and her TEAdious party has been doing for the past couple years.........

Palin's arrogant ignorance is mind-blowing. If this is what the Teapublican Party is all about America can surely do without it.

This woman doesn't "get it"? She doesn't understand the financial implications for our country and also the world economy? And yet, she thinks she is qualified to run this country as POTUS? Ms. Palin, you are not only a simpleton and a nitwit, you are certifiable.

That's REALLY ironic coming from this lady. She who whole-heartedly not only endorses the GOP's use of fear tactics, but also actively engages in it every chance she gets. Obama's statements about the debt crisis are rational explanations, and are backed up by the best of economists. Telling the straight story when the outlook really is bleak is not the same as fear mongering.

Typical Republican tactic of transference: Accuse your enemy of your own bad behavior.

What a pathetic bunch of folks, these GOPers.

So is that what he's doing – it all makes sense now. Obama can't get the Congress together on anything in Washington, but he's the one that rounded up all of Wall Street, the bankers, the treasurey, the best economists in the world, china's banks, and the Moody's and the rest of the Rating companys and then convinced all of them to say the exact same thing – wow. If he was actually that clever – I would be scared. Palin on the other hand, frighten's the hell out of me. Radical right or radical left should scare ever American.

Republicans won the house in 2011. Democrats that made the mess need to get out of the way, but they can ride in the back of the bus! If Dems had wanted to avoid all of this, they could have done what tax payers paid them to do, they could have passed a budget prior to the Nov 2010 elections! Why didn't they? Because getting re-elected wasmore important than passing a budget and representing their constituants. Sarah Palin for President_Drink the Tea not the KoolAid.

Lady Blah Blah Blah speaks about things she does not understand like the debt ceiling. Crosshairs Sarah does know about fear mongering because everytime she speaks out in the 11th hour about something after days of getting advise from her tutor she still cant see the truth. She thinks you can quit your elected position and quit paying your bills and everything will be just fine and dandy. Her hero Reagan started the downfall of America and Bush almost finished it and between them they raised the debt seiling about 22 times, but Sarah has forgotten to reload her brain cells before she spews out of her wordhole

She wants the rich 1% to suck the blood out of the middle class through earning more record profits and continue to enjoy paying low taxes while the whole country is suffering and the economy is down the tubes while the rich 1% are sending all the jobs overseas.

That's what the GOP is a group of people that cares little about America at large. They only care about what they can get.
