RNC ad paints future doomsday scenario

Washington (CNN) - The Republican National Committee released its final attack ad of a month-long campaign against President Obama, according to the group, hitting the president over his handling of the economy.

The latest 30-second spot shows a young girl watching television on the last day of the Obama administration, in 2017. She is watching hypothetical news broadcasts that report the unemployment rate and U.S. debt to China climbing to record levels.

"Eight years ago, we were promised hope," the narrator says. "Today many believe their American dream has been lost."

The RNC said the ad will air in Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio and Iowa, all battleground states in 2012 that the president won in 2008. A Spanish radio ad will accompany the television buy in Florida.

"These are states Obama carried in 2008 that he must hold in 2012," RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement. "The risk of continuing Barack Obama's failed stewardship of our economy is too great. The American people know it's time to change direction."

The RNC would not say how much money it's spending to air the commercials or how long they will run.

Here we go with the scare tactics and fear mongering. I'll tell you this much. If this country defaults, you will see a revolt against the government. You think the arab spring is something, you ain't seen **** yet. The riots in Greece will look like Sunday school compared to what will happen here.

Funny how the RNC still think they can fool the American people. Don’t they understand that we already know we can only blame the GOP for this mess? They are wasting their energy in try to divert out attention. GOP is fighting a lost battle for them. Get over it GOP!!! You can’t confuse our nation anymore. Take full responsibility for your own action and try to clean up your mess.

Try this on for size......When August 3, 2011 arrives and the debt ceiling hasn't been raised or our credit rating is downgraded, you can expected bank robberies to breakout around the country.

It`s all about ABSOLUTE power.-- Republicans had total control of Washington for the first 6 yrs beginning in 2000 and look where it got us !!!– up to our ass in debt with huge tax cuts benefiting the wealthy 10 to 1 over the middle class. Their final "gift" was a multi-billion $$ bailout of their wall street buddies who were allowed to run wild with no restraint. -And they continue to do so.- I`m not a Republican because I can no longer afford to be.

GOOD!! It isn't about party lines here people, it is about what's right, protecting our children and their children too. I fear this man staying our President and I pray for REAL CHANGE when he IS NOT RE-ELECTED!! Once we raise our debt ceiling, it will get maxed out too..oh yeah, let's help other countries, give them relief, illegals get to benefit from our colleges, ER health care with NO insurance, and get welfare, BUT we can't pay out TROOPS???? Oh yeah, our President never was an American Soldier, so why should he care? Heck, he isn't cutting his salary so he doesn't care. his retirement is provided for, so who cares about cutting Social Security...SAD times for the United States of America.

It really seems it is now time to start drug-testing Republican leaders as their reality is in no way like the rest of the nation. Keep drinking the koo-aid boys. The next election will wash you all away.

What gobbly-gook, coffee up the nose, snicker – snicker, trembling in fear – snicker, snicker, trash! Priebus has definitely outdone himself this time around ... on a trash category of 1 to 10, gotta give it a +20. Talk about failed stewardship!

As long as President Obama IS President, repugs will do all in their power to keep America down. As long as repugs have the power to stop progress, under a dem president, they will.

Too bad for them that Scott, Kasich and the President of the Lollipop Guild have already pretty much ahnded FL, OH and IN's electoral votes, respectively, to Obama in 2012. IN is a little bit closer call, but FL and OH are a serious upholl battle for these Get Obama Party next year.

Obama has no clear vision, no strategy and no plan. We deserve better. We can see now what leaving it to chance gives Americans. Trauma over how much debt the country can stand going forward at the same time unemployment and housing problems are out of control. When do we get to say enough is enough? 2012.

There is no question, that if Obama gets re-elected, and has a Dem Congress, that country will become totally bankrupted.

The question, under such a scenario, is whether that was the original intent of Obama in the first place.........to bankrupt the country, from within.

I know that shame and decency are not concepts that politcal entities recognize, but they cannot escape truth, the real truth and not the one that the RNC and the Karl Rove's of the worle fabricate for their own monetary gain. It is beyond comprehension how a political party can do evertyhing in its power to undermine a President and his attempts to move this country ahead and them blame him for not getting the job done. These ads will thrill the uneducated and unthinking, but the GOP is making a serious miscalcualtion as to how their willingness to risk all of our futures for their own political gain is playing out here on the ground. They will see, to theri dismay in 2012 that you actually can overestimate the stupidity of the American voter.

The GOP doomsday scenario is terrifyingly true ... and it already happened thanks to the policies they rubber stamped under Bush. But true to form, it's easier for the Republicans to scapegoat instead of accept responsibility.
