House vote on Boehner plan postponed

(CNN) - House Republicans are delaying a vote scheduled for Thursday evening on Speaker John Boehner's latest debt ceiling proposal, according to a statement from the chamber's second-ranking Democrat. A Republican source said the vote would still happen Thursday night.

The move indicated possible difficulty in lining up sufficient Republican support to pass the measure.

A party without purpose, direction, and leadership. Devoid of comportment and destined to be rebuked in 2012.

BTW, at what point does someone in the "news" media pipe up and point out that the only reason this is a problem and further delay is being caused is because the House GOP absolutely refuses to compromise and pass something that would actually earn votes and support from the House Dems?

Oh yeah, never...it would ruin the controversy by highlighting where the blame really lies.

What are Boehner and company going to do now? Move the plan even further to the right wing extreme so that, ummmm, it's still getting shot down by the Senate anyway?

They cannot stick to a schedule. The vote should have taken place on time; they postpone it because it is not going to be in their favor. That is called "voter manipulation".
