(CNN) – Sarah Palin reminded Republican freshmen members of Congress Thursday of the promises they made during their 2010 campaigns and encouraged them to remain true to their fiscally conservative values as Congress debates an increase to the debt ceiling.
On her Facebook page, the former Alaska governor reprinted a letter she sent the then-newly elected members in November 2010 that called on them to tackle the deficit and entitlement programs to "avert a fiscal disaster."
"Republicans campaigned on a promise to rein in out-of-control government spending," Palin wrote in 2010. "These are promises that you must keep."
In her new post, Palin asked the representatives who received backing from the tea party movement to remember those who propelled their candidacies.
"I respectfully ask these GOP Freshman to re-read this letter and remember us 'little people' who believed in them, donated to their campaigns, spent hours tirelessly volunteering for them, and trusted them with our votes," Palin wrote. "This new wave of public servants may recall that they were sent to D.C. for such a time as this."
Palin, who is considering a bid for the White House in 2012, has said raising the debt ceiling is inevitable, but that Republicans "better get something out of it." She has also been a proponent of the "Cut, Cap, and Balance" pledge passed through the Republican-controlled House and failed in the Senate.

The truth is republicans have secret war plans to make extraordinarily amounts of money, excluding the libertarians who want isolation from the world. Neo-conservatives in office just want to take advantage of all the different situations in the middle east to interfere with big oil.
Well, this is just some wannabe president giving her opinion, which everyone is entitled to, but it isn't worth a nickel to me. But I guess if CNN thinks it is important enough to put on their website, they can do it. I think this lady needs a real job.
Let's start by cutting entitlements to Alaska. Next Minnesota and see how they like it then. Most of the people calling for cutting entitlements mean entitlements for other people, not themselves.
I'm not sure Palin and her Tea Party playmates in Congress, realize that raising the debt ceiling is required not to allow new spending, but to cover money Congress has already spent.
The idea that Republicans should get something for raising the debt ceiling is disgusting political opportunism of the worst sort. This woman is petty, partisan, and corrupt and cares more about the welfare of her party than about the welfare of her country.
Her words are worthless. She is worthless. The Tea-Baggers are worthless. If you believe in any of these things - you are worthless.

If she would shut her mouth up sometimes and try and learn a thing, she would be better off. She does not have the intelligence, poise, and insight in to worldly issues. Prez Obama is doing an excellent job under the circumstances. He has done more in 2 1/2 years than other presidents have done in their 8 terms. If the grand ole party of NO would stop trying to block him on every policy decision, he can get a lot more done. Palin needs to take notes than running that mouth of hers.

There are people who want her to say the stupidest, and most inane things, and she does have a following (all 8% or 9% of Conservatives).
All she, of course, just has to do is to open her mouth, blather anything that comes to her mind – and there are 'people' in these United States that are willing hear her prattle, and also pay for it.
I only wish, I had her gift – I too would blather for the millions she makes every year.
This campaign will be measured by Palin-isms. Today was a good one – lecturing about keeping promises. She does a better parody of herself than Tina Fey.
