Washington (CNN) - As former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty focuses his energy on Iowa ahead of an influential state straw poll, his wife Mary heads to New Hampshire this week to shore up support in the first-in-the-nation primary state.
Pawlenty last visited New Hampshire on June 13th, when he participated in the CNN/WMUR/New Hampshire Union Leader debate. In recent weeks he has heavily invested in Iowa, aiming to attract enough support in the Ames Straw Poll to give a jolt to his campaign.
Mary Pawlenty, a former Minnesota district court judge, will greet voters in Keene and Amherst on Monday. She will also participate in public events in Nashua and Manchester on Tuesday.

Deploys? Deploys?
Did she have to join the military?
Mrs. Pawlenty is on the trail campaigning and fund raising. Does this mean that she is "fair game"? If she were a Democrat, she would be.
@Rudy NYC – I enjoy your post – this is the first time I was able to respond to you!!
As for Mrs. POORlenty – U GO GIRL!! As for Mr. POORlenty – what a waste of time!!
That might get him up to 3.5% of the vote. What a joke.
Maybe Mrs. Pawlenty is a more exciting speaker with some personality that will excite the voters. He needs all the help he can get.
Mary Pawlenty should run fro president , she's more qualified then her husband !
I think old boring Mr. 2% is going to need help from someone...but another relative unknown won't make a lick of difference.

I guess so – the dems sure attached Bachmann's husband.
Well, Mary sure has pawlenty more than Mr. Pawlenty !
so you're way down in the polls and you send out the wife??? I guess she can slam Obama and offer no possible solutions just as he can.
@Fair:
Mrs. Bachmann brought her husband into the picture by holding him up as an example of small business success. In fact, he has been campaigning for her on the campaign trail. Well, at least he had been before people took a look at his example of success. What a mess.
Glad that she stepped down from the bench. I am not sure about her credentials as a judge being married to this guy.
Did either of them mention the four year anniversary of the bridge collapse in MN that killed 13? Just wondering. Didn't think so.
The pawman sending the little woman to do his job. How sweet. Barf!
Interesting that some of the spouses of the campaigners have more education than Bachmann and undoubtedly Palin, the GOP should be ashame of themselves.
Pawlenty, give up this fantasy of yours. You're too dull to make anything happen.
Great, another attack dog with no real ideas on how to correct 2000-2011, just complaints about what is wrong. I just hope she is more exciting than her husband. To Fair is Fair, no one "attached" Bachmann's husband, although many people did "ATTACK" his mentality, and rightfully so. You cannot fix gay, just like you cannot fix stupid (see McCain campaign 2008 choice of picking Palin) they are what they are.
