Huntsman won't rule out impeachment

Dover, New Hampshire (CNN) – Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman again left open the idea that Congress could impeach the president for involving the US in the Libyan conflict without congressional approval.

"Congress should do whatever Congress chooses to do," he said in response to a reporter's question about whether Congress should consider impeachment. "My position in Libya is pretty simple. We shouldn't be there."

His remarks to the press came after an operative from American Bridge, a Democratic research and tracking firm that follows Republican candidates, posted footage of Huntsman making similar comments to a voter at a New Hampshire house party earlier in the week.

The Democratic group went on the attack, saying it plans to paint Huntsman as a candidate desperately seeking approval from reticent conservatives.

Huntsman was appointed by Obama to serve as ambassador to China in 2009. Since entering the race he has sought to distance himself from the administration as a potential rival for the president in 2012.

If Huntsman were president right now, we'd still be in Libya. Just another politician talking political rhetoric.

Are there any statemen, any leaders, any where?

Republicans are the biggest hypocrites on this planet. Without a single other group or faction who can even come close.

I had hoped for more from this one. Impeachment. Really? Congress had plenty of opportunity to have checked Obama before now. Why not? B/c they knew Libya and its crazy leader are worth taking out. Huntsman is playing the Romney game and it is not becoming a person of personal integrity.

No, Congress should not do what Congress wants to do. Congress should do what its constituents TELL it to do. I think this is one of the major problems with GOP policy. They are not doing what they are TOLD to do by their constituents.

Huntsman is a shallow idiot. The US stands for freedom and opposes tyranny. Go pick up a rifle and head for the front line in one or both of your middle east wars. Stand up brave and take it in your heart. Also, no one from Utah will ever be President you jerk!

So, the moron from New Hampshire wishes to consider impeaching the president for OBEYING THE CONST I TUTION?!
So, he'd accept disobeying it, ignoring the law of the land, per article 4.
The NATO treaties are ratified by congress and signed by the president, hence, per article 4 of the const i tution, they are the LAW OF THE LAND.
So, the moron from New Hampshire wishes to repeal the ENTIRE const i tution, by definition of his suggestion.
Send the army in to quell the sedition.

So, he wishes to ignore article 4 of the Const i tution. Where RATIFIED TREATIES are the law of the land.
Hence, he wishes to impeach the president for OBEYING THE MOST FUNDAMENTAL LAWS OF THIS NATION.
    Fascinating!
My M-4 supports this president in this matter. So does my Brigade.

He should be impeached for creating the recent debt crisis himself by coming up with his own figures and ideas and having everybody scared and scrambling to meet his own personal dictator-like wants. He should also be dealt with severely for putting fear into the people that depend on Social Security when it is an entitlement and Not A Debt. Social Securit was Not on the 'Debt Crisis' table. Obama Lied to attain his own goals, knowing full well millions of people, the seniors and those disabled, would be disturbed and greatly worried. He doesn't belong in Washington as even a janitor. I hope to see him OUT!!!

Wasn't Qaddafi behind the Lockerbie bombing? Didn't Americans die in that plane crash? Didn't Reagan, a Republican president, order the bombing of Qaddafi's compound in retaliation for his terriorist activities?

You mean he doesn't want to see the Birth Certificate? Wow that's new! But how will the Tea Party know he's a real candidate?

Yeah, we'd look great to the world and the Middle East if we sat back and watched people dying as they struggled to bring democracy to their countries. Where we didn't belong was Iraq. But that's another story.

Go back to Utah, small time.

Jon Huntsman has been declared a clear and present danger to the safety, security and national interests of the Great United States of America.
The order to terminate, with extreme prejudice has been issued.
As has been issued for organizations that forbid mention of the Constitution of the United States of America.

Where was Huntsman when Bush had us invade Iraq on a lie? 1st we were invading Iraq because Saddam was pals with Bin Ladin (LIE)! They were enemys! Then it was said that he had WMD (LIE AGAIN)! It was proven BEFORE we invaded that he didn't have any and Bush KNEW IT! As far as I know, not a single American soldier has set foot on Lybian soil combat wise!

Congress didn't impeach Bush for lying about WMD's and outing a spy then no President should be impeached. Funny how the GOP double speak. Obama should be doing something about Libya, when he did they screamed we shouldn't be in Libya. IDIOTS!!!
