Palin's 'domestic terrorist' punch to Obama

(CNN) - Sarah Palin responded to unsubstantiated accusations that Joe Biden called the tea party "terrorists" over their role in the debt ceiling negotiation, saying President Obama should look into his own past with Bill Ayers if he wants to see "domestic terrorists."

"He didn't have a problem palling around with Bill Ayers back in the day when he kicked off his political career in Bill Ayers' apartment," the former Alaska governor said Tuesday night on Fox News. "You know, shaking hands with Chavez and saying he doesn't need any preconditions with dictators … wanting to read U.S. Miranda rights to alleged, suspected foreign terrorists."

If she and Fox host Sean Hannity were "real domestic terrorists," Palin said "heck, shoot, President Obama would be wanting to pal around with us, wouldn't he?"

Multiple Democratic sources said Democratic members of Congress vented to the vice president about tea party lawmakers who "negotiate like terrorists." As they spoke, Biden said "well now we've taken away their weapons of mass destruction," meaning the Republicans could not use the debt ceiling as leverage with Democrats in the future.

Biden's press secretary, Kendra Barkoff said the word "terrorists," "was used by several members of Congress. The Vice President does not believe it's an appropriate term in political discourse."

Obama's association with Ayers, the '60s communist radical, raised brows during the 2008 presidential campaign. Although, the two knew each other in Chicago, Ayers denied a close relationship with the president.

Palin said if the president were serious about improving the rhetoric in the U.S., as he called for in his speech following the Tucson shooting, he would tell the vice president to "tone it down a little bit."

"That is typical of our president, where it's, blah blah blah, you know it's all talk and no real action," Palin said.

The former 2008 vice presidential candidate, who is publicly considering a run for the White House, said she is "getting closer" to a decision. And she criticized 2012 GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney, who she said did not take a stand early enough in the debt ceiling debate.

"I do not have respect for what he has done in this debate," Palin said. "He waited until it was a done deal … and then he came out and made a statement that he didn't like the deal after all."

Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, kept his distance from the debate ahead of the agreement between Congress and the White House. After a deal was reached he issued a statement in which he said the president's leadership "pushed the economy to the brink at the eleventh hour."

"You know, you can't defer an issue and assume that the problem is going to be avoided," Palin said.

When asked if any presidential candidates met her test, Palin cited Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota.

"She spoke out and she cast her vote according to her principles. She stood true," Palin said. "Long time to go still, with debate, with discussion on who the right candidate will be, I'm not prejudging the field at this point."

There are some seriously psycho comments to this article. Biden doesn't think "terrorist" is language that should be used in political discourse, yet he agrees with his cronies that this is what members of a rival political party are? On the same damn day that Gabby Giffords returns to the Congress? And all the commenters at CNN can do is call for Palin's death? Absolutely freaking psychotic.

Wow! The stuff that falls out of her mouth! In previous history (the stuff SP does not like to know) there was a Sarah Churchill in England who tried for years to run the mental life of Queen Anne (furniture named after her) but ultimately it didn't work cuz SC just did not know where and when and why to STOP. Her own mouth did her in! SC was also considered "hot", had 5 kids and used them as props and tools to get her way. She really wanted to be Queen but the last Stuart beat her to it. When SC died, many people attended her funeral but get this! No one mourned her! Betting my last (really!) nickel the same thing happens with SP. What goes around . . .

Palin "retreated" but Gabby Giffords didn't because Giffords a fighter, not a quitter like Palin. Just as I predicted, Palin would come out of hiding when the debt ceiling debate was over because that she is too limited to intelligently discuss matters of National importance, she can only deal with simplicity, not facts.

Palin terrorizes anyone with a brain. Please, Palin, run for president. We need to finish off you and the Tea Party in 2012 once and for all, so that the Republic (not to mention the Republican Party) can be saved.

Sarah and Michelle you do NOT represent the working class, middle class, or any class at all. You are pawns of the Koch brothers, billionaires and corporations, yet you pretend to know what you're talking about. I will NEVER vote for either one of you, and have told my Repubilcan friends that a wide division now exists which neither one of you can heal.

The Taliban works to invade government, take over, and direct the masses. The TEA party invaded the government with their own specific reps who were to follow their rule if elected. They took over Congress with filibuster threats and such to try to direct the masses. Sounds the same to me. TEAliban it is!

Sarah Pailin :please stop throwing interview and false accusation against Pres Obama. Be constructive .You are too clever to ignore that the current National Debt was not the result of Pres Obama spending spree. You " forgot" to mention that the Previous Administration 's has left The Country with Trillions 10.5 of national debt. And a Big Chunk of the current deficit is related to decision or infrastructure left by former administration including the interest cost from that Trillions 10.5. The same comment with the Tea Party

Can anyone prove that Biden said "terrorist?" Where is the source? Not a claim, a printed or verifiable online source. Sarah and Sean saying he said it isn't a source. I want to see a news outlet source. I just checked Fox News online and even they don't claim that Biden said "terrorist." So, GOP/Tea/FN supporters: I want to see a source, please.

Sarah Palin is absolutely right! She speaks truth to power, and is the most effective counter to the socialist usurper in the White House. She is our best bet to restore our country's greatness! I'm for Sarah Palin 2012!!!

Sarah is the most successful political Trojan horse of our era. you idiots are getting jacked, in case you care to look around. oh, and i do believe 3 years is more than 15 minutes. as for the claims of irrelevance, the number of comments Palin articles receive kind of destroys that tired talking point. and do not fear the spellcheck! hahaha 🙂

So Palin, the person who placed gun crosshairs over democrat-held voting districts (and one of the Democrats was later shot), is now giving advice to "tone it down a little bit."

The problem with Palin is that she cannot kept her mouth shut. She feels she has to comment on everything, even if it does not directly involve herself. There's a difference between taking a stand on an issue, and just "blah, blah, blah." As a leader, commenting on every little details would be a negative for the U.S., both here in the States, and world opinion. Palin has demonstrated on many occasions that she is not ready for the type of leadership this country needs.

Sarah Palin makes me want to puke! Now she is givinga thumbs up to Bachman who only makes me want to puke slighty less than Palin. Ron Paul is the only man of integrity in Washington D.C. and the only one on the "right" I would vote for. I will probably end up having to write him in because the American people are too stupid to see he makes the most sense but because he is not in the pocket of special interests will not get the support or coverage that he needs. Too bad.
