The new numbers just came out from the United States Department of Agriculture which administers what’s officially called the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Duh. It's all part of the GOP/Teatroll plan: hungry unemlpoyed people don't demand as much in wages, don't insist as fervently on labor rights, don't refuse to take a just because they won't provide benefits like health insurance or retirement, etc. Mission accomplished.

We're going to be the next Somalia suffering of famine if we allow the republican fascists terrorist regime to stay in control of the House.

And that's what Republicans call prosperity.

As Republicans continue their onslaught of jobs, Medicare, Medicaid and social security, the number of people who will need food stamps will surely rise. For those who voted for Republicans, you should remember that in 20112.

    -New world order
    -take away our rights.
    -take away our jobs.
-take away unemployment benefits and medicare(thanks republicans and baggers)
-turn Americans against each other on false premises.
    -set up a police state.
    -declare martial law.
    -FEMA concentration camp round up.

Coming to a city near us if we don't wake up and realize the master plan being put in place by the grand deceivers, The
Republican Party. They just keep voting them in, man. But hey, they've succeeded in making everyone think its President
Obama's fault. If everyone wakes up and research what's really happening, it will give you goose bumps. Google new
world order, get your noses out of each other's crouch, forget the boob of the day on tv, ban together, and stop the
destruction , before its too late.

Don't worry - the wealthy aren't being hurt - it's only the poor, children, and some of the elderly, so no one cares (sarcasm off now).

  12. The Greedy Old Pigs have declared class war in US!

And we can thank the GOBP for 30 years of failed economic policies. Tax cuts do NOT create jobs. Deregulation only allows the corrupt corporatist cult to scam citizens, crash the economy (Bush gutted the SEC, which should have headed off the crash years in advance) and pollute our land, water and air.

Who are these people? Statistics I've analyzed demonstrate a correlation between poverty and OBESITY, not hunger. Please help me understand the correlation between hunger and food stamp eligibility. It is more likely that there is a correlation between INCOME and food stamp eligibility. But, I have not seen statistically-significant evidence of hunger, just a lot of anecdotal evidence; unless you are able to correlate hunger and obesity besides the obvious "obese people are always hungry... that's why they're always eating".

We just have to keep supporting our food banks. How can anybody who can buy at least one or two extra cans of
vegetables, beans, soup, anything, while shopping in the grocery not do so?

Don't worry, stupid Americans that voted these anarchists into power will just have to learn the hard way, in squalor, waiting for those trickle-down economics to start trickling.
