Obama set to raise money in New York

Washington (CNN) - President Obama is scheduled to attend two fundraisers in New York on Thursday to benefit his re-election effort, two Democratic sources tell CNN. One is a reception for 15 people at a hotel. Following that he’ll attend a dinner for approximately 50 people hosted by film producer Harvey Weinstein and Vogue Editor Anna Wintour, according to the sources. The dinner will be held at Weinstein’s apartment, one of the sources said. Tickets for both events are $35,800 with proceeds going to the Obama Victory Fund, whose proceeds are shared by the re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Jealous much? Here we go – he's out campaigning, campaigner-in-chief, blah, blah, blah. It's getting tiresome as neither our president or his supporters care what you think.

Go to work Mr. President, stop all the fund raisers. You are acting like a candidate not a president. you could make more more and win more votes by being presidential. Also I have never begrudged a president a vacation but right now is not the time. Right now its all hands on deck, man every station and work your backside off. Get congress back from their "summer break" they are not school teachers. They don't work too hard, they have not done a good job and get them back and work their butts off until the give the american people what they need. A FISCALLY SOUND COUNTRY! The spending party is over!!!
