The post-Ames, post-Pawlenty GOP field

AMES, Iowa (CNN) - Republican contenders faced an altered political landscape Sunday in the race for the presidential nomination, as Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann surfed a wave of attention coming off the Ames Straw Poll and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty dropped out.

"We needed a boost from Ames that didn't happen," Pawlenty told staff on a conference call Sunday morning, CNN learned.

All Politicians-Washigtons' Now-ins and the Wanna-be-ins are selling the American People a bag of beans..

On one hand Rick Perry wants to render Washington INCONSEQUENTIAL in peoples lives and on the other
hand wants to be erverthing in peoples lives..create their jobs, educate their children and heal their sick, etc
and that according to Rick Perrys' agenda....yes, a bag of beans......................1

Pawlenty would have fared better if he had decided to pick on Romney, rather than Bachmann. Perhaps he'll be available for some post in the Winner's administration.

This says a lot more about Iowa than of Bachman.
At least the Pizza-man is still happy.
    Obama is happy too!

for some reason the Iowa crowd seemed so protective of Bachmann that it wasn't funny, it was like a big brother protecting his kid sister. Sexist? Not sure but I do think Pawlenty's attacks on her, although true to a certain extent, did him in.

The media PRAISED Bachmann, knowing she will NOT go any further than IOWA and downed anyone else that was running alongside her. Bachmannn brought in 40 buses to vote for her; she spent billions in IA. She cannot continue to BUS people in to vote for her in other states.

Now the MEDIA is going to PRAISE Perry in an undertone that seems favorable to him (but it's NOT unless you listen to FOX NEWS). This will take all of the glory from Bachmann because there is a NEW sheriff in town.

POORlenty – maybe? – should have stuck in there? But maybe he is thinking about a number 2 position. OMG – Democrats better get on the ball because all of these so-called "FRONT-RUNNERS" in the end MAY be offered positions in return for their endorsement. Could you imagine Bachmann and/or Palin being appointed to Secretary of State or Defense?????????????? AHHHGGGHHHHH!!!

    OBAMA/BIDEN 2012 – Yes we BETTER!!!!

The current gop field is nothing but a clown show. These are not leaders – some have such a fragile grasp of reality -cough, bachmann, cough – that they're inventing their own "facts". They disown facts, logic, science. No thanks, this country needs to move forward, not backward and I don't see any one of the republicans as viable candidates. I'll stick with Obama, he's accomplished a lot in face of traitorous obstruction from the republicans. The republicans have failed repeatedly and consistently when it comes to governance – we'll be digging out from the last republican administration for a decade. They don't deserve another chance.
