Bachmann to raise money in North Carolina

Des Moines, Iowa (CNN) - Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann will peel off the campaign trail later this week to raise money in North Carolina.

The Minnesota congresswoman is launching a three-day tour of South Carolina, home to the pivotal first-in-the-south presidential primary, on Tuesday.

On Wednesday morning, though, she will make the short drive up the road to Charlotte for an early morning fundraising breakfast, according to a copy of an invitation to the event obtained by CNN.

The price of entry is $100, but supporters hoping to get close to Bachmann are asked to contribute $500.

According to the RNC, the debt ceiling dingbat should be back in her home district of MN, being submissive and trying to convince us all that energy saving bulbs are EVIL!!!!

I cannot believe her interviews yesterday. She is still advocating that raising the debt ceiling is an increase in spending. She has been pushing the idea that FY2011 bills are already paid for. The notion that we can simply pay interest on our debt without paying the principal is not defaulting on our debts.

Suppose you have a credit card statement. It will show your amount due broken out into principal and interest. If you pay just the interest you are not paying the full amount due. Bachmann has been advocating to do exactly that, pay only the interest and forget about the amount due. No wonder our credit rating was reduced.

Run Michele, run! See Michele submit, but not compromise. Pray away the gay, Michele. Repeal health reform, Michele. Take government money and make sure no one else can. Preach religious intolerance.

That is how to get big donations for the Kochs. 'We the corporations' is where the money is.

Looks like Ms. Bachmann is one step closer to getting her wish, that is to have a one on one debate with Pres. Obama. Should this happen, this may be one of the most interesting debates in the history of presidential elections. Just can't wait for the fireworks in this one.
