Rove's Palin prediction

(CNN) – Karl Rove predicted Sunday that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is likely to run for president and will make her decision known soon.

Rove, the former top political adviser to President George W. Bush and co-founder of American Crossroads, a conservative political action committee, said Palin's upcoming trip to Iowa and recent web video are evidence she is gearing up for a run.

"I'm not much of a gambler, but I'd put a little more money that she gets in than if she doesn't," Rove told "Fox News Sunday."

If Palin, who was the vice presidential candidate on the 2008 Republican ticket, doesn't make a decision shortly, people will assume she is not running and withhold their support, Rove said.

"You can only tease so many times in the political process, and I think she is getting to the end of that," Rove said.

Palin has flirted with a White House bid for months, even launching a bus tour in early presidential contest states.

Most recently, she attended the Iowa State Fair on the same weekend as the high stakes Ames Straw Poll. The video her political action committee released Friday showcased her trip to the first-in-the-nation caucus state.

Palin returns to Iowa to address a tea party group on September 3rd.

Will she quit mid term? She is like George "awol" Bush with a dress. Remember how Bush helped us? 09/11/01, spent the budget surplus, started two wars and bailed out his Wall Street Bankster friends with TARP?

If Sarah Palin represents the depths America has sunk to, we should shut down everything and focus all our energy on a War on Ignorance. We ARE becoming our own downfall. If the likes of Palin or those like her (i.e. Perry, Bachmann, etc. ) get into the highest office in the land – we might as well make up a set of keys to the country and hand them out to our enemies and competitors. If we can't do better – we are most certainly toast!

Just what they need: to dumb down the GOP race even more! Are they TRYING to get Obama re-elected? When are they going to get a viable candidate?

The Republicans need a viable candidate. To date, I haven't seen one. Until they do, I would hate to think of 4 more years of what we have now. Which is next to nothing left. I see Palin as maybe a cabinet seat, at best. Never as a President. Bachmann needs to understand that there are more people to tout in America than the Tea Party base. If you want The Peoples vote, you have to appeal to The People.

Pure entertainment and nothing more. I'd like to see a debate between Palin and Bachman. Palin does realize she can't avoid those gotchya questions if she ever decides to run. Actually I think she will just keep running her mouth. I'd like to see her in a debate with all the GOP presidential hopefuls. Biden was way too kind to her. Love President Obama, he doesn't give her the time of day. He will not stoop to so much as acknowledge her presence in the media and it drives her even more crazy than what she is.

Sarah Palin and Charlie Sheen should have done there bus tours together. It would have made her more credible.

Gee... when the US got involved, you lefties said it was a "NATO" mission and we were just support forces. Now Obama is a "great leader"??? Sorry..... can't have it both ways."
    -------------------------------------------------–
    Shut out of this story.
Fair is something who suggested the mission to NATO? Who decided to join forces with OTHER countries and participate in said mission? Who decided the approach in which we'd go in after bin Laden?
    Now....
Who was the idiot that said "Mission Accomplished" aboard that infamous aircraft carrier with the stupid sign to match the idiotic grin on his face? Who was the same idiot that said not once, not twice, but several times for all the world, and nation to hear and record that capturing Osama bin Laden was not important because Osama was irrelevant and unimportant?
With a leader like President Obama we can in fact "...have it our way" just like at Burger King! lol

Actually, the Republicans do have one viable candidate and it so far appears to be Huntsman. He actually makes sense when he talks and is more center. If there's enough sane Republicans left to make him the nominee, Obama will actually have a challenge in 2012. I thought Huckabee for the longest time was going to run. That man is smooth as glass in debates, but he chose not to. Palin is the questionable one on so many levels.

Get over it lady, it was also whites who fought to abolish slavery and give you rights also, it just wasnt blacks and maybe an apology is in order from your VILE mouth, you are nothing but a racist black dem and if you get in my face you will get back more than you give from this whitey, because i'm tired of hearing your black whinning.

Silly Sarah doesn't stand a chance in hell of being President. That being said, is she going to run further right than her psycho sister Michelle Bachmann? I recall Sarah targeting congressional districts whih eventually led to Rep. Giffords getting shot. You may not blame her for that, but I do. Sarah Palin is a hate merchant and does not belong in the political arena.

With Palin in there will be FOUR religious nuts running for Prez. The fundamentalists won't know what to do with themselves, while rest of us dismiss all four.

It is very amusing to see all you Republicans say that all of us Independents disapproveof President Obama's performance. Most of the true Independents, like myself, who voted for President Obama can see that the Republican agenda is not to get America back moving, the Republican agenda is to remove President Obama from power, which has been the agenda since Senator McCain annouced to the world that he conceded the race. So while these so called polls say Independents are angry, they probably asked people who claim to be Independent who probably did not vote for President Obama anyway. We will show up again, re-elect President Obama, for no other reason but to show you and the Tea Party (which are one of the same) that you cannot bully your way back into power. We the American people decide who is our leader, not you.

I only have one response to to the idea of Palin running: NO NO DEAR GOD ALMIGHTY NO!

Some of you may think Sarah Palin running would be great because President Obama would be elected in a landslide, but I don't trust the people enough to have such confidence. We still live in a culture of fear, and it doesn't help there are people on the left who are willing to vote for Palin and her cronies to "teach Democrats/Obama a lesson", whatever that means. Have we forgotten 2004 and 2010 already?

Everyone's entitled to run for president of course but this sideshow will only make it impossible for the Republicans to win with anyone as a Palin "campaign" will only force the right to pretend she is credible and thereby diminishing respect for the party as a whole. How can a guy like Romney say what he really thinks about her as a candidate? Bad enough he's saddled with Bachmann to battle.

One way to tell if a canidate is on the right trail to getting nominated is to read the many comments from the disllusioned idiots who follow a miserable, worthless, mistaken man called a President of the U.S. Obama is the type of fellow who will ask you, "What have you done for me lately"? as he knifes you in the back. He is interested with the ideal of being President, but not trying to find out how to be a President. GIVE ME SARAH PALIN ANYOLD DAY OVER ALL THE CANIDATES OF 2012. YOU CAN CURSE HER, YOU CAN TRY TO DOWNGRADE HER. BUT WHAT YOUR DOING IS REALLY SAYING JUST HOW DANGWEROUS SHE IS TO YOUR MAN BING REELECTED. THIS CONVINCES ME, AND MY FRIENDS WE OR ON THE RIGHT TRACK FOR GOING FOR THIS LADY. I PRAY SHE WILL RUN. SHE WILL FINALLY MAKE THE U.S. A PRESIDENT. ONE OF WHICH THIS COUNTRY CAN BE PROUD. AND NOT BE EMBARRASSED OF.

I don't want her to run. She was instrumental in getting the House cleaned out of Liberal loons and getting actual Conservatives back in. The Republicans should win back the White House but she has an even greater mission – ensure that Obama gets de-throned, get a Republican majority in the Senate and get rid of as many Rhinos as possible. Go get them Sarah.
