Rove levels Palin accusation

(CNN) – Karl Rove accused Sarah Palin of "thin skin" over a message from her political action committee criticizing the speculation surrounding her presidential intentions.

"It is a sign of enormous thin skin if we speculate about her, she gets upset, and I suspect if we didn't speculate about her, she'd be upset and trying to find a way to get us to speculate about her," Rove said Wednesday night of Fox News.

The statement from SarahPAC, released Monday, said the predictions are "intended to mislead the American people" and "fuel the 24 hour news cycle."

The post followed Rove's comments Sunday when he said the release of a web ad and the former Alaska governor's travel schedule are evidence she is more likely than not to jump into the race.

But Rove, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, said if Palin is unhappy with the speculation she should "simply say 'I'm not running.'"

"Instead, every time she pops up in the public eye – like she did on CNN at the Iowa State Fair a number of days ago – she said 'I haven't made a decision,'" Rove said.

The former 2008 vice presidential candidate is expected to address a tea party event in Iowa on September 3. When asked recently in Iowa if she would be ready to join the race by Labor Day, Palin said "I doubt it."

yeah Palin supporters she would make the perfect president. Every question would be a "gotcha" question and she would only give press conferences to FoxNews and issue speeches through FaceBook and Twitter. Come on American wake up and smell the coffee.....Palin is in it for the $$$ and attention.

Of course she not going to announce she's running ... she'd then have to particpate in debates with the other candidates ...

So let us not speculate anymore about this. I think most of the American people have had enough of her already and I would say this has been since the last presidential election when she lost the election. She is a quitter, something that America does NOT need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's up with Rove? Things must not be going according to his plans for him to spend so much time in idle speculation over Palin. No doubt he wants her in the race, sooner rather than later, if only to draw focus away from Perry. If she chooses to jump in, both Perry and Palin will be pulling from the same voting block, and the ONLY candidate benefiting THAT scenario is Romney.

Buck up, old boy. No doubt those running on the "God Told Me To Do It" ticket have confused your party faithful a bit right now, not being exactly sure WHO God really wants running, or them to vote for, but I'm confident when the time comes, you'll be able to persuade most of them to follow your direction, barking out God's orders in the same manner you've accomplished in the past.

Although I thoroughly enjoy watching republicans bicker with each other, I think this is simply a case of Rove making sure Palin looks foolish. Rove may be a slimy guy with questionable character, but he's definitely smart. And he also knows Palin can't win. That's why he's willing to bash one of his own party members. He knows if Palin made it onto the ticket, it would be a landslide for Obama.

For the last time, Palin is not running. I do not know why Rove would join Palin World, but since they both work for Fox News, I really should not be too surprised. Again, as long as Palin works for FNC she cannot run for POTUS. It is not like she can quit today and run tomorrow, either. Doing so would raise questions about her salary being a campaign contribution. She would need to quit, and have some down time before she could announce, and it is well past the due date to do that. If she were running, then she should have quit Fox before July 4.

I don't like Rove, but Sarah Palin is about to be one of the silliest women in politics. She has a childish personna and she acts like a kid who is having a temper tantrum. It would be embarrassing to have her as president, but at least I don't have to worry about that because she will never be president and she knows it.

So Rove tried get under Palins skin and rile her up and it worked. It is no secret that Palin is thin skinned and is only riding the gravy train as far as she can, with this ridiculious notion that she may run for the toughest job in the country. It is hard to blame her for all the stupid people that send her money or pay for her canned speeches. She is going to take all the money she possibly can as long as there are people that are dumb enough to think she might run for POTUS, she will keep accepting money. Palins scam is just another socialist welfare scheme where people at the bottom send you money for basically doing nothing and they make you rich for no good reason.

While I despise both these individuals I would believe Rove more. Palin is a publicity seeker and a quitter. I got repulsed by her when I read she got paid $100,000 for a 12 minute speech in Madison, Wisconsin that was full of lies and nobody heard her with all the protesters. She did get her free Leer Jet ride to the event also as that is the only ways she says she will travel. What an idiot. How could anyone support this ignorant slob and quitter?

Rove is a strategic thinker and he knows it is best for the Republican Party if Sarah Palin is GONE from the stage.

He is forcing the time issue for her "to declare" so that she can`t distract from the GOP`s attempt to field a candidate that will be viewed as more credible. He knows that her high negatives hurt all GOP`ers as long as the party panders to her, or Bachmann`s, or Perry`s brand of political looneyness.

Sarah, you`ve served your purpose. You`ve been a snarky, shrill, Obama-hater for almost 4 years.

You are the political equivalent of the good-time party girl that none of the frat-boys [headed to respectable positions in life] want to marry. Some guys need more than a freak in the bedroom, if you know what I mean. Politically speaking, you are JUST A FREAK and nothing more. Karl wants a freak with some substance. Can`t say as I blame him.

TeaPartiers, let your disillusion begin as the establishment portion of the GOP begins to marginalize you and take you for granted.

Palin can only survive by receiving her paycheck from Fox (for nothing), using sound bites, and second guessing. Otherwise, she has nothing to offer, just like her reality TV predecessors.

This may be a first–Karl Rove has said something I can agree with. If nothing else, Rove is serious about the election of Republicans, and Silly Sarah Palin is too flighty for the process.

Rove, knows she is the last person he would care to see in the White House, but he is in fear of what her supporters will say about him!!! Everyone know SP is about the money and that is why she is not saying if she is going to run or not until the very last minute!!
