Rove levels Palin accusation

(CNN) – Karl Rove accused Sarah Palin of "thin skin" over a message from her political action committee criticizing the speculation surrounding her presidential intentions.

"It is a sign of enormous thin skin if we speculate about her, she gets upset, and I suspect if we didn't speculate about her, she'd be upset and trying to find a way to get us to speculate about her," Rove said Wednesday night of Fox News.

The statement from SarahPAC, released Monday, said the predictions are "intended to mislead the American people" and "fuel the 24 hour news cycle."

The post followed Rove's comments Sunday when he said the release of a web ad and the former Alaska governor's travel schedule are evidence she is more likely than not to jump into the race.

But Rove, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, said if Palin is unhappy with the speculation she should "simply say 'I'm not running.'"

"Instead, every time she pops up in the public eye – like she did on CNN at the Iowa State Fair a number of days ago – she said 'I haven't made a decision,'" Rove said.

The former 2008 vice presidential candidate is expected to address a tea party event in Iowa on September 3. When asked recently in Iowa if she would be ready to join the race by Labor Day, Palin said "I doubt it."

It's about Karl. He's out of balance and out of power. Divorced, fat and looking for attention. His enemy Perry is sucking up most of the oxygen and Palin is sucking up the rest. People do what is in their emotional, financial and political best interest, we just don't know which item has priority at any given time. Obama is a strategic and powerful campaigner and will make most of these Republican candidates look like fools leading up to 2012. No one will remember or care what was said in August 2011 when they pull the lever in November 2012.

This is new news? I noticed this about her in 2008 when she complained about the hardball media playing gotcha with her by asking such difficult questions as, "What are some of the books and magazines you like to read?"

Palin's thin skin is also a lack of intelligence, most people like Palin who know they aren't smart always go on attack, that's their coverup.

    Quite.

If Palin ran for President, it would unite a nation... Much like how the kingdom of men united together to defeat Saren's evil forces. That's a fair assertion I would think, after all, she DOES live in a fantasy world.

Why is it when any one points out any of the many the flaws of Palin those that mindlessly worship her claim it's because some how it's because they fear Palin??
It's a very strange claim that does seem to be fear based – but fear of those who idolize Palin.

Palin is unhappy because Rove brought attention of a most unwelcome type to her. Specifically, Palin dislike any attention that implies she will actually have to deliver results of any kind. Palin really only likes attention if it's unquestioned adoration.

Palin knows she's not going to actually run for president. She knows she would perform like a fish out of water (e.g. a dead salmon) in a debate with other Republican candidates. She knows that if she had to address questions about her record of MASSIVE TAX INCREASES (research ACES – Alaska's Clear and Equitable Share) while governor of AK that her image as a fiscal conservative would eventually be destroyed. That's why Palin will never, never actually run.

God, I'm so sick of her. Listen Mrs. Palin... You are acting like an average reality celeb who after a reality show (that was something awful) you now randomly refer to your fans (by the way its constituants) you didn't get your fame from a show, you got from a vice presidential nod (not voted on) for the love of god take it seriously, stop using the reality star template (too late) already wrote a book, and attempted your own show. all of this proves you are not anywhere near close to being mature and/or serious enough so stop wasting our time, try and get as much attention as possible, make your money and leave us alone. Better yet, join the race and make it easy for us. Again, i'm sure you are a great mom, wife etc... but you do not belong in the presidential race.

I seem to remember that when McCain introduced Palin as his VP his number went up and he was in front of Obama in the polls.......talking about VP, Obama`s choice was not the best, if it was his choice but I doubt it. He was told what to do.....and still is because he hasn`t got a clue....

Sarah will run. Why not there is a lot of money to be made running for President. I wonder how many people would actually run for President if there was no possible way to become wealthy doing so?

    Rudy NYC:
    We have two options here.
    (1) They (the Rethugs via Rove) are trying the truth on for size and effect. Rove's statement in regards to Stupid Sarah was on point. Let's see how much publicity the truth will garnish them (yes, "them" as in Rove and Sarah. Two attention seeking whores if ever there was one).
    And
    (2) Someone Named Joe Who Knows posted the second option that being that it is all about Rove. What an insightful comment Joe! It is feasible that a has-been that is trying to make a comeback into the limelight by making himself relevant found a way to do so by targeting Sarah, the media -whore, media-darling. Now the light is shining on him for being the one brave enough to tell us and the world the "inconvenient truth" about Sarah.
Either way very effective, which goes to show even these bastards can have their moments of "brilliance".
    Go figure!

Really ..........Dennis Miller said Palin would be a better VP than Biden? hahahahaha
I've always felt Miller really sucked as soon as he left the talent at SNL and his lack of work since has proved that, but that's hilarious!
