Rove levels Palin accusation

(CNN) – Karl Rove accused Sarah Palin of "thin skin" over a message from her political action committee criticizing the speculation surrounding her presidential intentions.

"It is a sign of enormous thin skin if we speculate about her, she gets upset, and I suspect if we didn't speculate about her, she'd be upset and trying to find a way to get us to speculate about her," Rove said Wednesday night of Fox News.

The statement from SarahPAC, released Monday, said the predictions are "intended to mislead the American people" and "fuel the 24 hour news cycle."

The post followed Rove's comments Sunday when he said the release of a web ad and the former Alaska governor's travel schedule are evidence she is more likely than not to jump into the race.

But Rove, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, said if Palin is unhappy with the speculation she should "simply say 'I'm not running.'"

"Instead, every time she pops up in the public eye – like she did on CNN at the Iowa State Fair a number of days ago – she said 'I haven't made a decision,'" Rove said.

The former 2008 vice presidential candidate is expected to address a tea party event in Iowa on September 3. When asked recently in Iowa if she would be ready to join the race by Labor Day, Palin said "I doubt it."

I really for the life of me can not understand why we keep this whatever in the news by talking about her.

Please someone tell me her qualification again?

She has a Bs. in Journalism. What else? She was a governor for 2 1/2 years before she quit? She was picked for the wrong reason by McCain as his failed presidential run. What else? She has 5 children, one of them got pregnant at 17 unwed, while she and the Republican Party are preaching morality? Africa is a country and not a continent? She preach and wishes hate on people that do not agree with her bubble head idea or a much more accomlished than her.
So again someone tell me why she qualifies to even waste my money by running let alone be president of the United States.

If she responds to Rove by whining about being picked on (her standard victimization ploy) for having thin skin, then she will prove she has thin skin.

If she DOESN'T respond to his criticism by whining, it would be a first for her.

Everyone knows Sarah Palin is a big whiny baby, but imagine how truly obnoxious she must be to have people in her own party come out and say it in public. After all his years in public service, this may turn out to be the greatest public service Mr. Rove has ever done.

"thin skinned" is when the lefties on this blog hurl every vile comment in the book at every Republican, and then get all bent out ofshape when the same is done to one of their government welfare enablers.

Has Rove ever held a job? I have more respect for a truck driver than any of the Washington Suits... they are bags of wind or POS

I wonder how Price Charley's new puppy (not Camila) is doing

Run Sarah Run! America needs you, loves you. (Signed the DNC)
Sarah is the best thing to happen to Democrats in 100 years. Rove may be a dirtbag, but he is smart enough to get the dumbest Republican to ever breathe elected President. Twice!!!!!!! So fuss if you must, but don't discount Rove's advice, cause the man knows what he is talking about.

I hate to agree with Carl, but gotta on this one. This woman actually seems to believe that when her statements get critisized, her freedom of speech is thereby violated.

She knows exactly what she is doing. She is building hype for her bas of minions. Think about it. She is treating all of this as if it was reality tv. She wants to wait until the last min to jump in. Hold out as long as possible aviod as many debates as she can, She doesnt want to be asked questions doesnt want to do any of that. Its amazing though that she has even made it to this point of wild speculation. I thought here poitilcal career would have been over after her interview with katie Couric.

And it looks like they installed her tooth caps on the wonky side. One thing is for sure, Palin brings failure to everything she touches. Is there ANY question that she would bring this country down if elected president? We can do better, Sarah – Next, please!

Careful agreeing with Rove all you idies out there! He did that to Palin just to DRAW YOU IN! You're now giving him a little trust because he's lashed out at one of your enemies so to speak. This will draw you in to *his* (their) conversation!

Never EVER forget how smart that slimey gashole is. He's probably smarter than you, so be watchful (I know he's smarter than I am, of that Ive no doubt .. far more evil as well. At least he's predicatable.). He's no doubt clever enough to feed her to the sharks if it means winning the trust of some more indy/undecideds. She's a lost cause and he knows it, and no loss to the conservative movement if she gets discredited. So at this point she's becoming shark bait and the more Reps that jump on crapping on the Tea Party the more ~moderate~ they look in the eyes of the indies. The Tea Party is their sacrifical lamb. Perhaps even by design. Makes the conservative agenda look all the more "sane" when stood next to the faaaaaaar right TP..

    ~shudder~ ...

Mr. Rove, you seem to think that most Americans live in caves and have no cable or internet. Palin's thin-skin has been on display for all to see for the last 3 years. She is notorious for responding to even the most benign criticisms with her typical sarcastic, simple-minded retorts. The woman refuses to acknowledge a single mistake she has made or show any sign of normal humility. So, Mr. Rove, if you're going to attack Palin, be direct. Just say what everybody else seems to already know– She's an ignorant, narcissistic opportunist. That about covers it all.

I agrre with Rove, but please Bimbo Sarah run for president. Her followers know that this woman is a nut, they have to pretend that she is not so that they will not feel ashamed for giving her all of their money. This is how the republican/tea partiers roll. When they lie and make bad descisions they have to cover it up. Also @ Palin power, you are either drinking, smoking something or you are just as stupid as Sarah Palin to even make your comment. Just admit the truth and you will be set free from your torment. The lady that you are glorifying is crazy. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wake up America!! We need Sarah Palin. When she ran for VP in 2008, it was hilarious – fully time reality TV program with drama and comedy. We don't have alot of laugs these days and the Kardashians are getting boring. Run Sarah Run!
