Rove levels Palin accusation

(CNN) – Karl Rove accused Sarah Palin of "thin skin" over a message from her political action committee criticizing the speculation surrounding her presidential intentions.

"It is a sign of enormous thin skin if we speculate about her, she gets upset, and I suspect if we didn't speculate about her, she'd be upset and trying to find a way to get us to speculate about her," Rove said Wednesday night of Fox News.

The statement from SarahPAC, released Monday, said the predictions are "intended to mislead the American people" and "fuel the 24 hour news cycle."

The post followed Rove's comments Sunday when he said the release of a web ad and the former Alaska governor's travel schedule are evidence she is more likely than not to jump into the race.

But Rove, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, said if Palin is unhappy with the speculation she should "simply say 'I'm not running.'"

"Instead, every time she pops up in the public eye – like she did on CNN at the Iowa State Fair a number of days ago – she said 'I haven't made a decision,'" Rove said.

The former 2008 vice presidential candidate is expected to address a tea party event in Iowa on September 3. When asked recently in Iowa if she would be ready to join the race by Labor Day, Palin said "I doubt it."

FIELD1stSGT, if you think a Pailin/Perry ticket would be people of intelligence in the Whitehouse, your standards for education are woefully inadequate.

Sometimes I think you Palin supporters just make comments to stir up emotion. You know that she was never going to run, you know that if by chance she decided to, she would not win the Republican nomination, let along against President Obama. And your so called dream ticket of Parry/Palin or Parry/Bachman will not happen all three names represent the extreme right of the Republican Party and no way will the RNC allow that, that would equal instant defeat. So let's look at your choices:

    Palin – not running
Bachmann- too extreme and too crazy
Parry- too extreme and a bold face liar
Romney- too moman to win the nomination
Huntsman – best choice but not crazy enough for you jihadists
Cain – well too ignorant and we know you will not allow a black man to represent you, even it were Colin Powell
Paul- another decent choice but he makes too much sense for you Repulicans.

So regroup and try again in 2016

Palin is the girl in college who is so hot and every guy should want to get with but at the same time so pathetically desperate for attention that no one EVER wants to lay a hand on her. Yeah, she's that girl.

Rove is boxing Sarah in. She's damned either way. Personally, I would prefer she get in the race so all of her gates come rushing at her – media free-for-all on baby, house, dairy and fund trust gates. How fun would that be?!!

The easiest decision Palin has to make is whether she is running or not. It only get harder after that. What is so hard about this decision Palin? In or out!!

As a former Palin supporter, this is exactly why I gave up on her. She reacts to every little thing said about her in the media. But rather than come forward with any plans or details so that she can shape the message and narrative about her, all she does is whine and complain. But she clearly isn't fed up with the media coverage, because just when you think she's left the national stage, she pops up again on her bus or some other ridiculous stunt. I really wish she would just go back to being a private citizen and let the serious candidates compete without her being a distraction.

There is one thing you have to keep in mind about Pa(y)lin. It's all about the money. If she announces that she is a candidate for President, then the money that comes in becomes 'campaign contributions'. That is not 'personal' money.

As long as she is not an announced candidate for anything, she gets to pocket everything. That is why she resigned as Governor of Alaska...and that is why she has NOT announced as of yet.

Who would have thought that a day would come that I would miss Paris Hilton on the news cycle. We can thank McCain for this mess, he should have looked father afield for a VP.

Mr. Rove, not only she has a "thin skin", she also has a "thin brain".

I wonder what Sarah dear will have to say about this. Ought to be a real interesting article that she will get someone to write it for her.

What is going on here? This is the second time in a week that I've found myself agreeing with Karl Rove. Trust me, I have NEVER agreed with ANYTHING that man has said before. This MUST be a sign of ... something. Not sure what, but nothing this strange could be truly random.

Rove is right. Sarah Palin is only trying to string people along. She knows, the minute she admits she will not run for President, people's interest in her will drop like a rock.

Palin & Rove are not running for president. They are only PACs. Money, but that is it.

We need to pay attention to the real candidates.

Just in case you missed it, Palin & Rove are not running. FoxNews can't afford to lose them.

Why is anything that this ass clown says of importance? Why is he even given a second thought now? If he thinks he's so good, and such an expert, why doesn't he toss his hat into the presidential candidate ring? Oh yeah, it's b/c he knows he's an ass clown, part of the king bush minions, helped make America the way she is now and he'd be laughed off the stage, or hopefully stoned off the stage!

She has a thin work record also. One of these days the news media will figure her out as the fraud she is.

Sarah clearly is a narcissist. She looks for glory but will do nothing to earn it because she seems to think she is entitled.

    Dominican momma 4 Obama:
It was reported her in Texas Ron Paul was getting ready to expose Parry Perry's infidelity and his marriage was in trouble, then it was shut down. I'm sure it will comeup again when Perry continues to taught his religion around the country.

P.S. I will let you know if it comes out here again.

Why does'nt rest of the republicans and the press listen to Mr. Rove, who has afterall proved his worth as a political guru, and just drop this self intereseted mean thing (I coud'nt come with a nicer term).

You now you Obma supporters are so pitiful stupid you can't even own up to the fact that Obama is a fish out of water. He knows nothing about governing the President's office and will never succeed in getting reelected. Your problem, you just can not face facts. For what you dream about will never be. "I HAVE A DREAM DIED WHEN REV> (The Adulrterer died)> KING. HIS DREAM ALSO DIED> Never again in the near future will America put another person like Obama anywhere near the Oval office. My hat's off to the holder of the worst President ever.

He probably has other motives, and knowing Rove you know that he's up to no good, whatever it is.
