(CNN) – Donald Trump said Monday he spoke with Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry on the phone and the two had "great conversations."
"I'm sort of proud of him," Trump said on Fox News. "I mean he's doing well, he's doing a good job and we'll see what happens."
Trump, who flirted with a bid for the White House earlier this year, said it is early in the 2012 campaign, but that Perry has "a great voice." He added that Perry called him after his presidential announcement.
The longest serving governor of Texas has risen to the top of recent national 2012 polls after a late entry into the presidential field.
When asked what they discussed during their talk, Trump said China and jobs, two issues that were constants while he mulled a run.
"I think he likes my views on China. I think he likes what I'm saying about other countries just absolutely ripping this nation," Trump said.

Rick Perry would be more evil than the Bush Administration, more stupid than anything Palin could bring to the table and more insane than Bachmann. I don't know what's scarier, the fact that someone like Perry could be elected to public office or the fact there are people out there voting for him.

Trump is "proud" of Parry? For what? Trump's view of China? How much Chinese investment money is in Trump's casino/hotels? Let's investigate this.

Whenever listening to some Trump says you must dilute it by a ratio of 20 parts water to 1 part Trump-speak. Remeber, this is a guy who would tell you he went to Wharton, the U-of-PA GRADUATE B-school. The only thing is, Trump DOES NOT have a GRADUATE degree; no MBA.
So when you here it reported that Trump said, "We had a GREAT conversation" or Perry`s "doing a REALLY GOOD job", here is the translation,
What that means in english is: Trump called Perry and Perry said, "sorry, I`m busy, I`ll have to call you back" – that`s the `great conversation` part.
The `really good job` part is thatwhen Perry called back, he told Trump that he just had a bowel movement and blinked his eyes.
Trump resume-inflates that into a close & meaningful relationship with Perry.
All of this Coming from one of the biggest Lair the American People every heard from. About a man that should be Charge with Treason for wanting to take Texas and Secede from the Union. I think both of them are nut cases.

Trump's view on China has no more his authencity than his view on marrying women who aren't "Made in America". I guess Trump can now say "I've never married a woman from China because of my views on China".
Interesting factoid about Parry: He became governor of Texas when GW Bush stole the election in 2000.
At the end of Parry's first legislative session as governor, on June 17, 2001, he vetoed 82 bills, even though few had heard his views on these bills during the session. His vetoes were personally directed at lawmakers that had fallen out of his favor (Democrats and Republicans, alike) and this move was him simply flexing his muscles and giving them all the finger.
Notice his total lack of concern for the people of Texas and his complete obsession with political power.
That's Parry in a nutshell: In it for himself – to hell with the consequences on the real lives of real people.
