Palin to New Hampshire (again) in Labor Day schedule shuffle

(CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will celebrate Labor Day in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will attend a Tea Party Express rally in Manchester on Monday, the same day former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was due to attend the event.

Romney cancelled his scheduled appearance Tuesday, opting instead to join the Tea Party Express national tour Sunday evening before Labor Day. The move made room in his schedule to attend a forum in South Carolina Monday at the invitation of Sen. Jim DeMint – -an invitation he initially declined.

But the tea party group isn’t losing sleep over his schedule shuffle.

“We are always thrilled to have Sarah Palin join one of our rallies,” Tea Party Express chairman Amy Kremer said in a statement released late Tuesday.

“She is an electrifying figure in conservative politics and a hero to the tea party movement.”

Palin has remained mum on whether she’ll jump into the 2012 race for the GOP presidential nomination, but steered her national bus tour to New Hampshire in early June. She attended a clambake in the influential state on the same day Romney formally announced his presidential bid there.

At the time, she called their joint presence in New Hampshire “coincidental.”

And two days before she speaks in New Hampshire, Palin is scheduled to visit Iowa, home of the first-in-the-nation caucus.

The tea party favorite has indicated the end of September is a “drop dead” timeline to make a final decision on whether she will seek the 2012 GOP nomination for president. But her appearances in both Iowa and New Hampshire are sure to stoke speculation about which way that decision will go.

CNN's Kevin Bohn, Peter Hamby, and Shannon Travis contributed to this report.

To all her 'supporters': What makes you think she'll do a good job as POTUS, when she couldn't handle governor of Alaska? Besides, if she does run, she's have to 'quit' her stint as 'contributer' to Fox Gnus. Plus all her 'speaking' tours...

You can't seriously believe that; no matter how scared you are of anything that isn't Conservative, Christian or White. It's okay to just say you're scared.

Sarah Palin is so out of touch she doesn't realize the Tea Party is looked down on by most serious Americans. Way to go! Hitch your wagon to this anchor.

I am a life long republican and have voted for every republican candidate for president since Ford ran against Carter – EXCEPT last year – I was going to vote for McCain but when he picked a moron as his running mate, I made a very tough decision and voted for Obama. I regret having to vote for him, especially what has happened since he took office, but am happy that she is not one heartbeat way from the Presidency today. I will find it very hard to support her if the HUGE mistake is made in making her our candidate in 2012.

Obviously, the Quitta from Wasilla will never be President because she's a total absolute joke to most Americans, but it will be hilarious to watch her moon-eyed cultist supporters get all worked up over nothing. Ha Ha.

Poor CNN is the only ones adding to any speculation about Palin... They cannot get enough of her. They are infatuated. They want to keep covering her. Make the last story on her sooo astounding... a republican woman going to republican primary states.... how out of the ordinary... CNN is creating the Palin monster, I think they are getting kick backs.

The lady will run but enter the race later so she doesn't have to complete in debates. She wants to run on sound bites and friendly interviews at Fox. In other words, do it her way, which isn't bad if the public lets you get away with it and they will.
American is such a dumb nation as a whole. It is no wonder the middle class and poor are suffering as they vote and demand things which adversly affects them.

As a women I will consider a sex change if Sarah Palin gets anywhere near running our country. I would love to see a women in a high politcal office but we must have standards here people. Palin is just a mess both as a individual and a political figure, plain and simple.

Palin is after attention her narcissitic ego constantly needs. She is also trying to make the most money off her idiot followers as she can before she has to go home. She is NOT running and you in the media know it. She could NOT still be working for FOX and be thinking about running for President. Every other FOX nutjob running for President or when they announced they were just THINKING about running for President was fired by FOX. They cannot legally have candidates on their payroll. Do you really think Palin would walk away from her FOX salary and the media attention she gets via them???
Stop covering Palin – she is NOT running and no one cares what she is doing or thinking or going.
Republicans have NO credible candidates and Palin is not even in the running.
Perry will be gone as soon as all his lies about what he has done in TX have been exposed. He has destroyed TX and the people there HATE him. I have relatives in TX who are both Democrats and Republicans. They say the same thing. He is "devious, corrupt, bought and paid for by oil companies, and has all but destroyed" their state.

This country is already going down the toilet thanks to Clinton, Bush, and Obama. As to Palin, she and her husband need to be taken in for child neglect. She's so power hungry that forgets her children need a full-time mother. For all the criticism she gets from feminists, she seems to follow their advice to the letter: It's more important to work than to be a mother.

As long as CNN and others continue to report on this moron, she will not go away. Start covering this TV reality star and half-term governor WHEN she announces her candidacy (hah!). Until then, ignore her, PLEASE!

I guess we couldn't get through the day without a news update on the life of Sarah Palin. A day without the dark clouds of her would be horrible I guess. Maybe she should drive her bus around Vermont and report back to the world how bad the Irene aftermath is for normal Americans and maybe the GOP would listen and open up the FEMA budget to help Vermont.
