Palin to New Hampshire (again) in Labor Day schedule shuffle

(CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will celebrate Labor Day in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will attend a Tea Party Express rally in Manchester on Monday, the same day former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was due to attend the event.

Romney cancelled his scheduled appearance Tuesday, opting instead to join the Tea Party Express national tour Sunday evening before Labor Day. The move made room in his schedule to attend a forum in South Carolina Monday at the invitation of Sen. Jim DeMint – -an invitation he initially declined.

But the tea party group isn’t losing sleep over his schedule shuffle.

“We are always thrilled to have Sarah Palin join one of our rallies,” Tea Party Express chairman Amy Kremer said in a statement released late Tuesday.

“She is an electrifying figure in conservative politics and a hero to the tea party movement.”

Palin has remained mum on whether she’ll jump into the 2012 race for the GOP presidential nomination, but steered her national bus tour to New Hampshire in early June. She attended a clambake in the influential state on the same day Romney formally announced his presidential bid there.

At the time, she called their joint presence in New Hampshire “coincidental.”

And two days before she speaks in New Hampshire, Palin is scheduled to visit Iowa, home of the first-in-the-nation caucus.

The tea party favorite has indicated the end of September is a “drop dead” timeline to make a final decision on whether she will seek the 2012 GOP nomination for president. But her appearances in both Iowa and New Hampshire are sure to stoke speculation about which way that decision will go.

CNN's Kevin Bohn, Peter Hamby, and Shannon Travis contributed to this report.

When I see posts from Palin supporters, I cannot help but think that they are coming from 1 or 2 people (and maybe straight from her). Palin's former campaign worker exposed the scheme where Palin writers a positive letter about herself and then looks for volunteers to send or post the letter. This was done throughout her campaign for governor. She even coached them (in emails, which are published) how to act if asked if they are the authors. I found this so despicable. I am sure she justifies this as just assisting people express their opinions.

    Choices for Palin
    1. Don't Run – Keep Fox paycheck coming.
    2. Run – Shock her followers with her intelligence

Common sense would dictate keeping the easy gig at Fox.

You are comedy gold, Joe. She could explain how Paul Revere and John Wayne Gacy warned the British and helped General Benedict Arnold win the Civil War in 1916, or maybe she could explain the advantages of her Alaska ethics bill?

Iowa tbaggers invite Palin to a rally also Christine O'Donnell. Narcissistic Palin doesn't want to share the spot light, so O'Donnell is uninvited. Palin finds out that Romney is attending a tbagger rally in New Hampshire, so she decides to take her "bus tour" back to NH Labor Day Weekend and cancels Iowa. Iowa re-invites O'Donnell. Romney finds out Palin wants to take away his spotlight again so, reschedules NH and decides to go to South Carolina instead. And people think that these idiots could run this country. Good grief...

Palin tries so hard to be relevant...but fails in the end. She would be a disaster as president.

OMG! Every time I drop by the Ticker, this woman's face is the 1st thing I see! What is with CNN's obsession with Palin? She's doing nothing but running around the country making money in whatever fashion she can, saying the same stupid things she's always said. Enough already! CNN, get over her – she's married to someone else and not interested in you.

Well folks, more predictable "hate speech" from the so called compassionate Liberals. Pure hypocrites when it comes to "conservative white women".

Facts: Ronald Reagan declared in December and ran an 11 month campaign
Facts: George "The Elder" Bush and Bill Clinton declared in October

The media is pushing an imaginary time table because they need air time filled with something, anything, because they lack the imagination and ability to put useful programing on. That is why the "never ending Obama Campaign" is aired 24/7/365.

Governor Sarah Palin is by far the most electrifying candidate out there. Romney is toast and the Republican and Conservatives (there is a difference) won't vote for him if given a choice, and there is a choice.

The day she declares, it will be all about Palin and Perry which "our side" will rally around with earnest. Perry is a good guy but has "proven to lose his grip" where he was an Al Gore supporter in his former life. That will be made an issue.

Sarah Palin has "never left the fold" of traditional American conservatism. She has "always" been a Free Market Capitalist.

She ran Alaska better than Perry or Romney, check the "facts" in nearly "all metrics" and that is true: Lower taxes, lower regulations, veto's of wasteful spending.

For those on the Far Left, there is not hope for you. You would pick Hitler if he was a Democrat. For those of you closer to the "center" than you should smarten up and realize a very simple fact....Governor Sarah Palin ran the state from "the center" which is why she enjoy 93% bipartisan support.

Americans prefer "doers" and are fed up with "talkers" like we have now in the White House. Choose Sarah Palin as the next President and America will be able to trust a true Muckraker in the White House that doesn't trust "either party".

Corruption is the core of our dysfunctional system and she has proven street credibility in removing it.This small business owner, since 1982, will vote for Sarah Palin and support her financially to remove the incompetence of Obama and the crony capitalism of the Republicans.

Time for change on "both sides" and Sarah Palin ticks off the establishment on both sides....way cool!

Palin will inevitably be our next and greatest President of all times. She will completely change Washington and completely gut and purge all the seedy corruption that has infested our government. She will purify it and restore the sanctity of it back to the people. She will also purify the GOP of its neo-con Bush Clan taint. Palin is the one true champion of the people and our messiah and savior. America will truly be great under the wise and supreme leadership of the Chosen One Sarah Palin. The whole world will bow down to the great Almighty one President Sarah Palin. Palin will demonstrate the superiority of white conservative women over all men on this planet and we will have an eternity of white conservative women presidents.

*YAWN*. How about no more reporting on Palin until she decides for sure whether to run or not. Personally, I woudn't vote for Palin if it were a choice between her and a block of wood. She is in no way qualified to be POTUS, regardless of what her Tea Party crazies think.

She's a QUITTER and a loser. The Republicans better figure it
out quickly that the only viable candidate is Romney. Everyone
else is too extreme for the majority of this country. That's a
reality that no amount of denial will erase. It would be shockingly
great if the Democrats nominated someone other than Obama, too.
But that's going to an extreme in another way.
