Palin to New Hampshire (again) in Labor Day schedule shuffle

(CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will celebrate Labor Day in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will attend a Tea Party Express rally in Manchester on Monday, the same day former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was due to attend the event.

Romney cancelled his scheduled appearance Tuesday, opting instead to join the Tea Party Express national tour Sunday evening before Labor Day. The move made room in his schedule to attend a forum in South Carolina Monday at the invitation of Sen. Jim DeMint – -an invitation he initially declined.

But the tea party group isn’t losing sleep over his schedule shuffle.

“We are always thrilled to have Sarah Palin join one of our rallies,” Tea Party Express chairman Amy Kremer said in a statement released late Tuesday.

“She is an electrifying figure in conservative politics and a hero to the tea party movement.”

Palin has remained mum on whether she’ll jump into the 2012 race for the GOP presidential nomination, but steered her national bus tour to New Hampshire in early June. She attended a clambake in the influential state on the same day Romney formally announced his presidential bid there.

At the time, she called their joint presence in New Hampshire “coincidental.”

And two days before she speaks in New Hampshire, Palin is scheduled to visit Iowa, home of the first-in-the-nation caucus.

The tea party favorite has indicated the end of September is a “drop dead” timeline to make a final decision on whether she will seek the 2012 GOP nomination for president. But her appearances in both Iowa and New Hampshire are sure to stoke speculation about which way that decision will go.

CNN's Kevin Bohn, Peter Hamby, and Shannon Travis contributed to this report.

Any day now we will get the news that Sister Sarah is not running for president (to spend more time with her family of course) but will endorse Rick Perry.

Again, I ask: This woman is not a candidate. She does not hold public office. She resigned as governor of America's least populated state. Any poll of popular support shows her at the bottom. Why is her appearance anywhere newsworthy?

"Me! Me! Look at ME!" This woman's pathological need for attention is truly pathetic. When are the Tea Partiers going to realize they are doing nothing but enabling her addiction to the spotlight? She is the Kim Kardashian of politics.

I am so tired of seeing the "former governor of Alaska" line without some qualification. You know, like, "former governor of Alaska, a job she quit because it got too difficult for her?" There, now that really serves to explain to perspective voters, in part at least, the real story behind Sarah Palin. This is something we should never forget when considering electing this woman to another office, let alone the President of the United States.

Sarah "it's all about me" Palin has done it again! Trying to steal the show from established candidates.

Is there a more irrelevant human being on the face of the earth? You idiots ate giving this race to Obama by pushing your own hidden agendas. We need a 21 century president not a witch doctor.

Iowa and New Hampshire. Purely coincidence?
Sarah Palin is running for president of the United States.
It is a whole new race.

Sara Palin is no longer the flavor of the month. Why is she still being discussed?

Perry and Palin should join forces. He has openly discussed secession; she has a husband who was affiliated with a political organization that advocated secession. They are a match made in heaven, if you are a Democrat,

The "Tea Party Express" ought to have a little (TM) trademark logo next to it. It is not a "party" nor does it have anything to do with the Tea Party – it's a GOP funded public relations firm.

How can such a small little petty person have such a huge ego????? Maybe it's from the idiots that give her money. In the grand scheme of things, she actually has a very small following.Just as small as her mind and principles.

Lord, it's been quiet from her for a while. She can do whatever she wants, it doesn't matter. She is a legend in her own mind – and in her wallet (thanks to the gullible). That won't make a difference. A non-entity.

Who cares what this miscreant does? Besides the lemmings that are sure to go over a cliff with her. I am so sick at looking at her goofy face and hearing her dumb voice. In the words of the immortal Bernie Mack. "Enough America".

There is never any coincidental with her. If she thinks there are cameras, she will be there. She is moving to get Romney out to be replaced by her.Except for Perry, there is no other candidate that copuld actually win the nomination. Bachman is nuts and although her philosophy is just like the Tea Party, she is not electible – she makes too many false statements and unattainable goals.

She has it worked out that she can Be paid by fox and still campaign without saying she is running, typical conservative move. Why not double dip if you can get away with it.
