Palin to New Hampshire (again) in Labor Day schedule shuffle

(CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will celebrate Labor Day in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will attend a Tea Party Express rally in Manchester on Monday, the same day former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was due to attend the event.

Romney cancelled his scheduled appearance Tuesday, opting instead to join the Tea Party Express national tour Sunday evening before Labor Day. The move made room in his schedule to attend a forum in South Carolina Monday at the invitation of Sen. Jim DeMint – -an invitation he initially declined.

But the tea party group isn’t losing sleep over his schedule shuffle.

“We are always thrilled to have Sarah Palin join one of our rallies,” Tea Party Express chairman Amy Kremer said in a statement released late Tuesday.

“She is an electrifying figure in conservative politics and a hero to the tea party movement.”

Palin has remained mum on whether she’ll jump into the 2012 race for the GOP presidential nomination, but steered her national bus tour to New Hampshire in early June. She attended a clambake in the influential state on the same day Romney formally announced his presidential bid there.

At the time, she called their joint presence in New Hampshire “coincidental.”

And two days before she speaks in New Hampshire, Palin is scheduled to visit Iowa, home of the first-in-the-nation caucus.

The tea party favorite has indicated the end of September is a “drop dead” timeline to make a final decision on whether she will seek the 2012 GOP nomination for president. But her appearances in both Iowa and New Hampshire are sure to stoke speculation about which way that decision will go.

CNN's Kevin Bohn, Peter Hamby, and Shannon Travis contributed to this report.

While walking through our soon-to-be closing Boarders store this past weekend, I was amazed and amused at the shear quantity of her books that remain in that store. It is obvious now after the store has begun to liquidate their remaining inventory just how many of her books have gone unsold. I mean there are literarily stacks of these book all over the store. At one point it was kind of funny, but after while it got to be kind of sad. I'm surprised they weren't just trying to slide one in every bag as a give-away just to clean up the isles.

Sarah gets the biggest crowds, and the most comments on news sites –

    Because she quit fighting? No.
    Because she is defeated? No.
    Because she is irrelevant? No.

Because she motivates patriots and scares the cr*p out of socialists? Yep. That’s the one.

There has got to be a better way of nominating candidates. Everyone's so busy trying to get elected or re-elected, that nothing gets done. And because of that, it's just a government that doesn't represent the people. It's so sad to see politicians govel for votes.

Sticking her neck out confronting Obama, 2 books,
24,000 emails, and an independently made movie,
all show that Sarah Palin is a hard working, capable, incorruptible, servant of the people.

Palin has the truth on her side. The more that comes to light, the better for her.
This is exactly the opposite for most of her opponents and especially Obama.

It is ironic that ANY Republican – and, in particulat Tea Party supporters – would celebrate Labor Day whatsoever. Considering their consistent fight against the right for working men and women to negotiate the terms of their employment, their support for tax breaks for companies that are still sending jobs out of the US, and their taxation war against the middle class on behalf of wealthy people and corporations, the Republicans have indeed abandoned working class Americans whom Labor Day is designated to honor. Shame on them.

Yay! The US Queen of Narcissism yet again sticks her nose in where it doesn't belong, and to where it's not been invited. All to satisfy her overwhelming and out of control ego. For the rest of us, pure comedy!

"A hero to the Tea party movement..." That statement alone does more to nullify the Tea Party Movement than any of the prior behavior.

This twit isn't going to run for POTUS. She knows that she will have to debate, once she does that she's finished politically.

Bassman – don't be an idiot. Romney was pushed out so she could come in; and she's not a governer – she quit, remember?

Anybody who doesn't see this "I don't know if I'm running" for what it is – a poor attempt to avoid the media and answer real questions – is a complete moron.

I still say this fool is not going to run. She will never put herself in a position to be embarrassed by the media again. She will make the announcement that she would like to run, but her "special needs" exhibition baby requires more care, etc. The crowd will cheer her decision and she will no longer be a factor.

'Rogue'...bad egg, bad news, black sheep, blackguard.

These are various meanings of the one word that she chose to describe herself.

It is astonishing how they all apply to her.

OMG I hope she runs. It will be so much fun seeing her go after Rick Perry, Mitt Romney and of course the "cat fight " with Michelle Bachmann. And of course when they in return go after her, Sarah will run to FoxNews and her little brother Hannity for protection and blast them all on her FaceBook. Run Sarah Run!! 🙂

I hate Democrats almost as much as I hate Republicans.

Republicans are bullies – Democrats are cowards.
    Ain't THAT the truth Ruth!

OK, Iowa one day and New Hampshire two days later. Wouldn't want to be on that bus....someone will be doing a lot of straight through driving. How does this woman maintain her "family" values when she drags them all over the country like a bunch of show dogs?

thankfully I am a Democrat, but if I were a Republican, I would form a committee to organized every Republican to formally denounce Sarah Palin – stating she was not a viable candidate, never will be and that she is not welcome to speak for or represent the Republican Party – she is a one woman wreaking ball – I wish the GOP good luck with getting rid or her, but she is like a bad rash

Pailin really has some of you fooled. Those posts that encourage her to run, really speak volumes about the poster's social/cultural awareness. Pailin says nothing in public in front of a camera, but chooses to tweet and "facebook" her thoughts. That is simply unacceptable for a presidential candidate!
