Palin to New Hampshire (again) in Labor Day schedule shuffle

(CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will celebrate Labor Day in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will attend a Tea Party Express rally in Manchester on Monday, the same day former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was due to attend the event.

Romney cancelled his scheduled appearance Tuesday, opting instead to join the Tea Party Express national tour Sunday evening before Labor Day. The move made room in his schedule to attend a forum in South Carolina Monday at the invitation of Sen. Jim DeMint – -an invitation he initially declined.

But the tea party group isn’t losing sleep over his schedule shuffle.

“We are always thrilled to have Sarah Palin join one of our rallies,” Tea Party Express chairman Amy Kremer said in a statement released late Tuesday.

“She is an electrifying figure in conservative politics and a hero to the tea party movement.”

Palin has remained mum on whether she’ll jump into the 2012 race for the GOP presidential nomination, but steered her national bus tour to New Hampshire in early June. She attended a clambake in the influential state on the same day Romney formally announced his presidential bid there.

At the time, she called their joint presence in New Hampshire “coincidental.”

And two days before she speaks in New Hampshire, Palin is scheduled to visit Iowa, home of the first-in-the-nation caucus.

The tea party favorite has indicated the end of September is a “drop dead” timeline to make a final decision on whether she will seek the 2012 GOP nomination for president. But her appearances in both Iowa and New Hampshire are sure to stoke speculation about which way that decision will go.

CNN's Kevin Bohn, Peter Hamby, and Shannon Travis contributed to this report.

Sarah (the unelectable) is ginning up the noise machine one more time. That neither her, Perry, or Bachmann stands a prayer of being elected, be darned. Please Sarah, run.

Palin is such a political tease. She flits around the spotlight like a moth to a candle. In Palin's case, I think she's already burned herself though because those who want her to run should be infuriated by her constant indecision and waiting this late in the game she's got too much competition if she does run. The spotlight is getting way to crowded for someone who likes to be it's sole occupant. No one in their right mind should take her seriously. Then again, we are talking about the Tea Party. Enough said.

Sarah Palin is a Dominionist. Look it up. It is very scary stuff. Do not make this woman or any other Dominionist our POTUS. Rick Perry is a Dominionist as well.

This Grizzli from Alaska has us all by the balls which is exactly what her intentions are. Milk the propaganda cow as long as possible and that will make her a mega million brod. She is clever and very manipulative and she has a plan which none of us know yet except to get very rich. Palin is uneducated, unfit for public office because she is a quitter and lets not forgetr this. She is the devil in a bra and panties.

Could she be any more blatant and shameless with this whole "I'm not campaigning, I'm just on tour" BS??

Who really cares???!!!!! She stands no chance of being elected, she is one of the polar extremes. What bothers me the most about this woman, is that she got her 15 minutes of fame and learned she can make a living being a controversial celebrity (think Rush Limbaugh), but this only makes a mockery of our already disfunctional political system.

Look Sarah – Karl Rove has tried to sommunicate the message subtlely – – GET OFF THE STAGE – – you are hurting the party`s chances of being taken seriously, So is Bachmann. Your actions are selfish.

In the 25 years of following politics, I have never ever seen someone make such a mockery of our democratic process.
Her behavior is extremely unpatriotic in the sense that she not participating in the actual process by telling voters what policies she would implement to improve the country. All she is doing is pandering to extremist and fiscal terrorist by spewing hateful and completely unhelpful rhetoric.
Also she is not that bright.

Don't you get it? Speculation is all she is really after. She will never put on a serious campaign. She doesn't have close to what it takes for that and she knows it. All she wants is to remain a topic of conversation. She is a classic reality show has-been who can't let go of her 15-minutes.

It's a national embarrassment this failed "sports journalist" and beauty pageant contestant was EVER a candidate for ANY national office. She was woefully unqualified to even be mayor of a small Alaskan town, much less governor. Thank god Alaska's entire human population is less than the city of Chicago....she really could've have done some damage to people had she not quit halfway through her term as Governor. Will somebody PLEASE help this woman go away?? Anyone?

Can you 'attention seeker'? Seems like someone, who I will not name – PALIN, loves to have the spotlight on her. "Look at me, look at me!!!! I'm over here!!"..... What a joke.

Hopefully she will run and completely disrupt the entire GOP candidate pool and cause nothing but chaos in the party itself. She will be the front runner for a while and then people will remember how much of an idiot she is, especially if she opens her mouth and says something. Then, we'll be back to no front running hopeful on the republican side.
Palin running will surely put Obama back in the white house for 4 more years even in this economic climate.
At least we'll get some good entertainment during the debates when she starts with her winking and pathetic slogans and backwoods jargon. Let the fun begin!
