Des Moines, Iowa (CNN) - It's difficult to find an Iowa Republican who thinks Michele Bachmann has an easy road ahead.
Terry Kach is one of them.
The Ankeny retiree traveled to Ames last month, put on a bright orange "Bachmann Volunteer" T-shirt, and helped the Minnesota congresswoman to a dominant victory in the Iowa Straw Poll.
FULL STORY

Michelle Bachmann is a complication. Perry may have stole her fire, but if Silly Sarah jumps in the race, she'll steal his fire. It's an ongoing cycle for who's the craziest candidate.
The fact is, the GOP field is universally lacking in something. Each candidate is flawed including Michele Bachmann.
I can only guess this is a grand strategy by Rove [or somebody] to LOWER EXPECTATIONS so that after he is the nominee Romney can garner support among clear thinking voters.
You see, after the wackiness of Bachmann, reckless swagger of Perry, the cowadice of Pawlenty, the nuttiness of Ron Paul and the ABM syndrome of Caine; Romney, it is hoped will appear palatable to independents.
Lower Expectations. Underpromise and Over deliver. Classic Marketing Strategies.
The more she talks, the more people understand that she has totally nothing to sell. People are not interested in buying attacks, they are interested in hearing new ideas.
Bachmann is not as bad as first thought, but she is entirely too focused on social issues, and that is not the important thing needed right now (or ever.)
What Bachmann needs is to be removed from Congress. With any luck, that will happen in 2012.
