What? The Republicans are speechless for once? I can't believe it. But come to think of it, I guess they really can't say much cause what have they done for JOBS lately??? <>

The party of NO at their best ostructing filibustering selves is exactly why my vote is for OBAMA-BIDEN 2012. They have no intentions of working with President Obama EVER. Obstruct and filibuster lie and lie some more.

It's simple, cutting tax for the rich, and trickle down economy don't work anymore, that's their only plan

Why should they he is nothing but hot air and all about himself.

While Obama and the Party of yes (DEMS) had control of both houses it was nothing but spend before we lose control. Obama doesn't know a thing about creating jobs except more government and he doesn't have a clue about how a business works.

Vote him and the Party of Yes out of office in 2012. We can't take anymore spending without the funds.

Of course they wont, they have no respect for the President or the people, unless of course you are a corporation person. Republicans will be scattered all over the country blasting the President for trying to the job that Republicans promised they would do if elected. The single biggest danger to the economy is the Republicans and they proved that with the debt ceiling hostage crisis.

I like how from the get-go it's all about rebutting the president instead of seeing how they can work with him. It's so fricken transparent. Oppose the president at all costs. Don't even bother to listen, whatever he says, we say the opposite. If he wants to do something, we don't. If he doesn't want to do something, we have to get it done immediately. Oppose Oppose Oppose, without thought or question. Meanwhile America suffers.

Oh yeah, I forgot: if you disagree with the conservative strategy, you're automatically a liberal who doesn't work and is on welfare. Or at least, a liberal. Thou shalt not disagree with any conservative! The dogma won't allow it.

That is because they either can't figure out how best to critize it or they really want to watch the football game that is coming up after the president's speech. We know that Obama is planning on watching the game.

To be perfectly honest, they don't have a plan and they haven't been told by the Koch Corp how to respond. Look at Mitty's 100-pt plan, America knows it is the same ol' Bu – - Malarkey. American has the t-tards on watch and we'll see them for what they truly are.

Why would they give a response the American People have had enough of them we want JOBs. They asked the President to change the date of his speech and now they want the President to meet with them for a pre-speech meeting who the hell do they think they are. This is not a game and they have jerked this man around long enough now you are goiing to see a different President. He tried to bend over backwards and compromise with these people but those days are gone and they are running scared their little game has backfired on them because the President is going to the people after his speech.

This President is trying to do what is best for the American people

This is very good to hear. They should LISTEN and help this country forward. I am tired of the GOP hijacking of this country and will not give them a single vote or donation after what I have witnessed over the past few years.

I see another disrespect to the president. They wont respond because they dont have a jobs plan of any kind.
Reponding would involve alternative and debate. This Tepublican house will ignore everything he says and then spend weeks coming up with an alternate plan which they will push thru the House. Guess what it will contain Tax cuts for corporates, cuts in entitlements and social security FEMA and EPA and Dept of Education disbanded, No need to cut defense we saved enough already, and when the tax cuts work we'll see employment grow.
Me I'd just tell the senate to throw it all back with Multiple amendments and deleting all tax cuts, so its in line with Obama's speech. Or just let it pass by one vote in the senate with loud dissent, because this plan damages jobs and the economy burdens only the working class does not create any jobs never mind some addition we'll see it all go minus big time.
Can we all please recall Republicans were screaming at the President to lead and get involved when it was thier created debt crisis, now its well we dont want to ply so we'll just ignore POTUS.
The ignorance and arrogance and incivility is intolerable..... some might say pure political theater, ansome might say even racist abstention. for sure its at least one maybe more of those adjectives, choose which you see relevant.
    Regards,
    Hodgson.

That's no surprise, how could they response with no new ideas, plus they are afraid because they know this president is coming after them. I just learned the GOP want to meet with before his speech, they'll know all cannons will be aimed at them this Thursday.

Of course not, turtle man didn't waste any time to tell congress that the President's plan "had failed". Isn't that what they want?
Can they be more transparent??? I hope for all you fools who keep voting for the people/corporations and the super rich wake up before November 2012 because if you think it sucks now, just wait.
This include all those teabagging old fools who want the government's hands off their medicare and social security.
