(CNN) – Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry will meet with Donald Trump Wednesday night in New York, the Perry campaign confirmed to CNN.
The Texas governor will travel to the Big Apple after speeches in Virginia earlier Wednesday.
Trump, who considered running for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination earlier in the year, previously said he spoke with Perry on the telephone and the two had "great conversations."
The real estate mogul and reality TV star has not ruled out a third party run for the White House.
