(CNN) - Republican Mark Amodei defeated Democrat Kate Marshall to win a House seat vacated after a senator's admitted affair and resignation.
In a special election held Tuesday, Amodei won about 58% of the votes to represent Nevada's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Marshall garnered 36% of the votes.
Democrats you guys really need to rethink what is going on. I believe something is not right.
Yet another example of why the voters of this country just doesn't seem to get it. God help us.
Yes, the NY vote was a rebuke of the Obama Presidency and the Dem agenda over the past few years but the Republicans shouldn't get carried away with the rhetoric after this victory. The district in NY consists of a 3-1 registered voter advantage for the Dems, so that election is a true shocker and sends a clear message to the national Democratic Party. This election was in a heavy Republican district and it was won by a Republican. Nothing surprising, it went as expected.
She lost in purpose.
It is a Nationwide secret alert sent, Democrats to loose seats for Republicans, intentionally.
It was the Republican seat anyway. Nothing lost here, though I know Fox News will spin it as if its a remarkable win!
