(CNN) – Texas Rep. Ron Paul won a California straw poll, the state Republican Party announced in a statement Saturday night.
A total of 833 ballots were cast during the straw poll, the statement said.

While Ron Paul has a few good ideas, he will never win. This is his plan:
step1: blow up the system.
step2: ???
step3: libertarian paradise!!!
He seems to not understand that most Americans will not go for step1 or step2, and do not want step3.
Ron Paul is the most liberal of all liberals and most conservative of all conservatives. This man has no middle grown. I guest why the extremes of both sides love him so much.
If the pattern goes on, that one will vote for a contender who has mentioned at least one thing they like, then it will be extremely difficult o get a real candidate. In this case, I do think marijuana has won!

I wonder how many of the canidates participated in the straw poll?
It is interesting as all the other candidates attempt to copy Ron Paul's positions. This is only because the other candidates have hindsight. After all the the bailouts, after the housing collapse, after the problems of the wars going on forever, after the dollar is about to collapse, now all of a sudden they see the problem. Does anybody really want to elect any of these people who never saw it coming. Ron Paul is the only candidate with foresight. He saw all this coming for years.

I will not pay any attention to "STRAW POLL DRAWINGS" ever again since learning from the Iowa one that candidates actually "buy" and/or "bus" people in that would vote for them.............THUS, the downfall of Michelle Bachmann after Iowa to a person who never even fought in Iowa for the straw!!!
Ron Paul has his dedicated posse that would follow him to hell if he goes there. But we must not forget that his posse is dedicated and is growing.
