BORGER: Obama, the liberal Superman?

Washington (CNN) – What did you do over your summer vacation?

If you're President Obama, you've had a bit of a transformation. That is, from the mild-mannered Clark Kent into, well, Superman.

Or something like that.

If you want to give my tax dollars away to countries who don't like us, people who will not work, you so called health care bill, and to many more things to list then you should give up your pay to fund all the people who get our tax dollars that do nothing for it.

Lead by example you wouldn't even know where to start.

You are a disgrace to our Country and everything we had to fight for.

I know Carter is glad you came along so the worst President will not be him anymore you took his place hands down.

And the Republicans are doing their best to lock the ol' telephone booth. We the people need help, and NO NO NO JOBS JOBS JOBS isnt helping. Obama needs to roll up his sleeves and start taking names. The Republicans have played dirty since the start, and Obama and his bipartisan approach hasnt worked with a party vowing to make him a "one term President". Hold the (R)s to their promise of job creation. Point out how they instead focused on a social agenda, and how they were content letting our Country default. These are simple facts folks. They cant spin that in their favor although they'll try. I better see a cape and some asskicking come 2012.. Repubs have used up their Kryptonite.

No, no kryptonite, radioative meteorites, or any other sci-fi stuff. What happened is that President Obama doesn't have any major issues to seek compromise on for the rest of his term. The President gave Republicans all of the rope they wanted to make it abundant clear the Republican Party has its' priorities in the places. He is long overdue in fighting back against the lies, misinformation, and spin. He has something to campaign on that most Americans want for this country.

So, what used to be called "slightly right of center" is now known as "liberal?" The secret with Obama is to not listen to what he says, just watch what he does. The majority of his debt reduction plan is the same old failed supply-side trickledown garbage that got this country into this mess in the first place. Global capitalism is destroying itself by killing off demand. Remember the Arab spring? It's coming here in about 10 years or so.

Nah.........just a return to the most basic of his skills.......that of orator.

Too bad there's little substance behind the oration.

Mr Borger, you need to be more specific. Which of Obama's vacations are you referring to?

"You are a disgrace to our Country and everything we had to fight for. "

While you are absolutely entitled to your own opinions, may I suggest you preface your comments with "speaking for myself" before you begin your "blah, blah, blah" message of hate when discussing President Obama? BTW: What exactly is it you fought for, and how has President Obama underminded your fight? Just curious.

    ========================================
Where the heck do people come up with this RUBBISH?!! Obama and the Democrats EXCLUDED them from the bogus Obamacare meetings for nearly a year. Obama was totally dishonest in his discussions to raise the debt ceiling. Obama is the most partisan, divisive Presdient this country has EVER seen.

Obama has said the right things, just as all past Presidents , when it comes to Israel and Palestine. Let the Palestinians ask for and hopefully receive statehood. Once they receive statehood, Israel will be forced to deal with boundaries and once statehood is granted, Palestinians will ber forced to stop firing rockets into Israel. They will have to stop or there will be resolutions and sanctions lodged against Palestine for aggression and the UN will occupy Palestine to force this issue.

Gee, haven't the Democrats and libtards on this blog been billing him as a centrist??? He hasn't fooled anybody. We were all well aware of these lies and his TRUE nature, a full blooded socialist. He's no liberal, he's much worse.

Sorry, Chief Bobblehead, but your false equivalencies don't fly here. It's not "just politics" as you're trying to sell everyone so they won't think critically about it, won't expect the MSM to report about the plan's substance and will just tell themselves "it's just more politics...both sides do it and are the same." An objective analysis of what is in the plan and its potential to help the economy doesn't support that false equivalency silliness here, even if Dems and Obama do use parts of the proposal that resonate with their base or a majority of the public to push for it. Politicking with portions of the bill does not preclude those sections nor the bill as a whole from having substantial merit, nor from being balanced. After all, there are certainly parts of it that the right wing extremists in the GOP should be applauding too, like the increase in federal employee contributions to their pensions, etc. It's clearly balanced, but allowing the public to perceive that balance would hurt the narrative the MSM is trying to create.

Why would he accept a demotion from Messiah to Superman? Hmmmm...maybe he realized liberals are anti-religious and prefer to worship cartoons that do not exist in reality.

Media stop playing games , we have lot of work to do
Obama , the liberal superman ? or US is world superman?

We may see one more recession,
GDP growth projected 2012 China 9.0 per cent, India 7.5 per cent, and United States 1.5
    Euro zone 1.1
Investors are fed up with political gridlock in Washington; some of our cuts will hurt local economy and global economy this is very serious issue
Single republican’s candidate doesn’t know how to fix this problem same time media wants to see Obama one term president sad
Summer I was reading world news “India set their goal to create 58 millions NEW jobs in five years”

At this time of high unemployment, thanks to Obama, people losing their homes, thanks to Obama and higher poverty in our own country then ever before, Obama shouldn't be sending OUR money to any countries. Charity begins at home, 'once upon a horse', but as usual your typical left wing rant is fueled by ignorance.

  19. The Real Tom Paine

    @ As GM goes, etc:

The GOP never came up with a single serious proposal regarding healthcare. Their counter to Obams's healthcare law was an outline of less than 20 pages. Obama came out with a proposal that would have taken the largest chuck out of our debt, and the GOP refused to even consider it. Mitch McConnell stated his intention is to make Obama a one-term president: is this the mark of a man who wants to get soemthing done for the sake of the country. The S&P downgrade was the result of a broken process, which the public has seen (correctly) as the GOP's fault, not the President's. The GOP cannot bear the thought of him being sucessful, plain and simple. The divisiveness is seen every day on this page by people who taunt, ridicule, and rant, but never offer solutions or explanations for their positions. Sound familiar?

    As GM wrote:

    -------------
Fact Check: The Republican leadershiop in the June of 2009 made some eloquent sound bites for the evening network news shows. They went something like this. You know they echo one another's comments word for word from the playbook, so I won't repeat them.

Boehner/McConnell: "This bill will raise taxes at a time when Americans can least afford it. We will *NOT PARTICIPATE* on the health care reform committee because we will not participate in the destruction of America."

And so began the "Party of No" in earnest. The numbers had just come out announcing the Recession appeared to be ending, so they had to come up with something dramatic.

They excluded themselves, just as Boehner walked out on President Obama during the manufactured debt ceiling crisis. The wimps took their ball and went home.

No, not Superman but rather BATMAN.

And not the Adam West Batman; not the George Clooney or even the Micheal Keaton Batman. I mean a real DARK KNIGHT kind of Batman.

The President came into office extending a hand to the GOP, Remember the happy hours he held? The invitations to watch football games he extended? In the midst of this, not more than 3 weeks into his Presidency, Mitch McConnell & T-Partiers voiced their intent to work day & night to make him fail. Most people remember the 2nd time McConell said it but he said it the 1st time about a YEAR earlier. I`m sure there is video of it [Rachel find it & show it please.] Bottom line, Americans have visual proof of the graciousness of Obama to the GOP before they smacked his hand away.

Now it`s time for hand-to-hand, unrelenting attacks on Republican lunacy & obstructionism. Critics will call it "campaigning"but so what! what we need is a Crimefighter that busts heads without regret or hesitation. For the next 14 months, as a part of GOVERNING, Obama needs to specifically and pointedly expose ever Congressman working against the recovery. Call them out by name and put their jobs at risk. Be their worst NIGHTMARE and force accountabilty to the unemployed voters in their districts.

Gen Zorn [& his co-conspirators] had Superman kneel before him. BATMAN don`t kneel.
