Issa endorses Romney

(CNN) – Republican Rep. Darrell Issa endorsed Mitt Romney for president Thursday, the candidate announced in a press release.

The six-term California congressman, who serves as a top critic of the Obama administration as chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said Romney will put the economy "on the right track again."

"The country would be well served to have someone who knows how the economy works and has worked in the private sector," Issa said in a statement. "President Obama never worked in the real economy – we can't afford to have another president who has spent his career outside the real economy."

Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, said he looks forward to working with Issa as he campaigns in California and works to "bring jobs back to the state and strengthen the American economy."

Maybe. But the country would be *better* served by someone who understood people, wasnt't born with a silver spoon in their mouth, and hasn't forgotten where he came from, how he got there, and that other people exist who deserve a chance to push their limits.

Romney will put the economy "on the right track again" ??? Really?

Like it was on the right track under 8 years of Bush when only 2M jobs were created, tax rates were cut, deficits exploded, wall street deregulation took us to the brink of world-wide financial collapse, the working people saw their WAGES stagnate, homes were lost to foreclosure and poverty increased.

Or does he mean back on the right track like under Democrat Clinton; 8 years where 23 MILLION jobs were created, Tax rates weher HIGHER, instead for deficits the US ran RECORD surpluses [and paid off debt], Stock markets rose as WORLD economies BOOMED and working families saw real gains in income?

Which "right track" is Mr. Issa referring to?

So nice to have a criminal endorse you. Issa should investigate his own crooked dealings.
