No Senate vote set for Thursday night on spending bill

(CNN) - A senior Senate Democratic leadership aide told CNN there will be no vote in the Senate Thursday night unless the House sends over a clean Continuing Resolution (which is not the House GOP plan). The aide also said the Senate Democratic caucus is united against the current versions of the CR being discussed in the House.

“We are looking for a real attempt to compromise. Not just an attempt to appease their own people,” the aide stated.

    Dear Congress,
Please stop acting like a bunch of babies. Please do the job you were paid to do. If you cannot do that, then please hold your breath until you lose consciousness and let people who really care become members of Congress. Stop the spitting contest and daring each other and do your job. Your re-election is riding on it.

They need to pass a budget on time. Stop with the continuing resolutions and holding America hostage. The only thing they are good at is stalling by naming Post Offices in Guam.

It's time for the Dems to draw a line in the sand and put an end to the GOBP's ridiculous political games.
