Washington (CNN) - CNN has learned that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is on the verge of announcing whether he will seek the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
In conversations with several sources Monday, it was clear the Governor wants to make his decision this week. One of the sources said Christie spent time this weekend discussing with his wife the pros and cons of a late entry into the race, and this source said look for a decision within the next 48 hours.
Will he or won't he? That depends on who you ask. One longtime advocate of a Christie presidential run said he senses a change of heart in the governor and, quote, "I see him running," but another says Christie is methodically going through the challenges he would face and says, "I hope he does, but think wiser minds will prevail."
I thought he said at the Ronald Reagan library last week that we should all watch the video of him saying "No" a million different ways to find out what his answer is?
Who cares? The more the merrier! Obama 2012!!!!
As much as I'd love to see him run, I doubt he will. He is far too realistic and has way too much common sense to jump in at this stage. If he does jump in the pool, he'll wash many others OUT of the pool in a tsunami... hahaha
One thing is for sure, the Republlican debates would skyrocket in viewership.
Christie / Jindal
The suspense is killing me !
Who cares? He'll peak and fade in 4 weeks just like the other exciting Governor/candidate, Perry.
the anticipation is so NOT killing me...
Who cares hope he keeps the decision to himself.
Im already sick of him.
I thought he already did...
Now we will have to sit pins and needles waiting for Christie to roll on in on the Republican ticket. Geez, what excitement (NOT)
great another neoconservative thrown in the mix will muddy the waters and make it easier for ron paul!!
