(CNN) - Sarah Palin, ending months of speculation, said Wednesday she will not run for president, either as a Republican or third-party candidate.
"This has been prayerfully considered," the former Alaska governor said on the Mark Levin radio program. "I can be on the right path without being a candidate."

I think the media outlets need to issue a collective apology for acting like she was ever going to be a candidate, or even a serious one. For real, guys?

Someone stated and I quote "She hit the road in a series of moneymaking, self promoting stunts and succeeded in achieving the true American dream: fame and fortune. Good for her. But all those people who have written checks and invested good faith with their chosen one will be justified in feeling played like any other heartbroken victim of a terrible flirt."
Perhaps it's true then that she isn't a "contender but a pretender." Aren't you going to give those fans of yours their hard earned checks/cash back? Looking at your FB, tons of words were flying "run Sarah run!" You mistook their gestures to "run away with their checks/cash." What a shame!

I like the name of their daily newspaper, "The Occupy Wall Street Journal"! Now we new and great name for the "movement" to develop it into a political force. I would suggest "The Patriot Party". What a shocker! She could not hang in there for the long haul in Alaska and people really thought she'd pass up the easy dough she's been making for the harsh glare of running for president. I'm surprised if anybody happens to be really shocked or saddened. You need to be very, very smart and tremendously well rounded to be effective in the oval office. You also need to need to be more concerned with the people rather than yourself or your image. I could not with a clear conscience say that the people come before Sarah or her image. Her days at Fox News may be numbered as her political capital dwindles and her me first persona gets old fast. The Wasila Wonder may just have to settle for much less dough and a much less glamorous road in the coming months. But she said that family comes first. Let's see how much of that is the real Sarah. My guess is not a whole heck of a lot.
