(CNN) - Sarah Palin, ending months of speculation, said Wednesday she will not run for president, either as a Republican or third-party candidate.
"This has been prayerfully considered," the former Alaska governor said on the Mark Levin radio program. "I can be on the right path without being a candidate."
FULL STORY

Did anyone really think she was running anyway? – I certainly didn't. Last I looked, her only job was to be a cheerleader for the GOP to keep the teabagger lemmings perfectly in-line and voting exactly as the republican party wishes them to.
Who ever thought this half term govenor was going to run for President, need their head examine, She knew she stood as much chance of being elected President as Bachman, the only person she appeal too are those faithful few ignorant people who just hate the black President!!
more simply put...she's a fraud that couldn't cut it at the state level, and is raking in tons of cash pretending to care about others. PT barnum said it best.....there's a sucker born every minute and she rides that wave of the sheep that follow her.
Played you people for fools. Cash that check and get yours I guess. Is it possible that there's something worse than a politician, like a half term politician who keeps one hand on the ballot and one hand on the cash?
good !!!
We do not need you to run for office.
Thank You for not running.
She need to run again!! I think she would b GREAT president.
Good decision – I'd like my president to prioritize like this: Country, Family, God – doesn't have to be in the top ten.
Glen Rice must be devastated by this news.
This is surprising why? Everyone knew she wouldn't do it.
Big Surprise that Ms. Palin didn't run! Yeah right – can't milk the money train as a candidate! Now she can concentrate on her lawsuit regarding the new book – can't wait til the lawyers depose her!
Good news for Republicans bad news for Democrats.
Sarah and her teabagging minions have had their 15 minutes. If you want to see real Americans, watch the protest starting on Wall Street spreads nationwide.
"She came to a decision through family and through prayer." And she saw where nobody would vote for her.
"As always, my family comes first" Except in 2008 when I didn't hesitate for a moment to jump at the VP slot despite the fact my daughter was knocked up.
Sorry you won't be adding to the comedy routine, Sarah. Never laughed so hard at a politician before.
FINALLY! Some good news out of Washington
Sorry Dems. Your dream candidate won't be there.
She wasn't going to get the nomination anyway.
The first statement that Sarah Palin has made that I, as a registered Repupublican, can support fully and without reservation.
I knew she would never run for president due to the fact she quite her job as governor. She is a quiter not a true person that could help lead this country. She is just a voice to cause confussion and to scare the crap out of people on false knowledge.
Dang, there goes the comic relief I was looking for during silly season.
Oh, thank goodness she is not running! The Great Half-Term Governor is the last thing this country needs in the White House.
This woman has an over exaggerated sense of self importance. When Sarah first came on the scene a few years ago I thought that she was had some substance, and that she was about something, but the more she speaks the more she appears disillusioned, let us count our blessings that she came to her senses. Let her chase her celebrity, her remaining 5 minutes of fame.
palin made fools of the press filled her pockets with money and should now disappear forever.....
What the hell does prayer have to do with running for President. The main issue is, and the only thing Palin is smart enough to understand is, that she couldn't win. Plus, she new all of the skeletons would be out of the closet and I don't think she is prepared to defend herself against so many issues where she is guilty and has no defense. Now if she would just go away.
Thank you! Now the speculation can end!
shoot. she was supposed to divide the vote with perry for a romney win. What is going on?
