Palin will not seek presidential nomination

(CNN) - Sarah Palin, ending months of speculation, said Wednesday she will not run for president, either as a Republican or third-party candidate.

"This has been prayerfully considered," the former Alaska governor said on the Mark Levin radio program. "I can be on the right path without being a candidate."

"When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order." I think Palin forgot to mention the something higher on her list that God "Making money!". Guess her handlers finally told her to pull the plug on running for President "We've bled all the money out of this venture, let's move on to the next"

she should run for president. she is a smart woman in not just politics but other things as well. she would help our country out a lot, by fixing what obama has done to ruin this country.

Why on earth would she run when she can just lob insults at the President, and even other Republican candidates, from the sideline without having to face her critics? She should just start a blog so that her sycophantic lemmings can hear her ridiculous drivel everyday. Er, actually I guess that is what Twitter is for.
It's actually too bad that she isn't running. If she won the GOP nomination we dems would be virtually guaranteed 4 more years.

I'm sorry to hear that Mrs Palin isn't running for president. I glad to see that as woman she is a strong person. I'm just about peace and love. I feel that are country will grow together. If they took the time out to worry about families. They're some poor families.
Understanding why is so much crime in are country fix the problem with parents, children etc.

Is anyone really surprised by this announcement. She kept her name out there for a long time and reaped the benefits of stardom. Maybe the news organizations will cover the announced candidates now.

It would be tough and she would make far less money... so she won't do it. I've been saying it for a long time.

...yawn... It would be hard to find a more tired story than anything Palin. But it's too bad. She still had the power to completely ruin any chance for Republicans.

It does not make any difference. I am sure if she had contested she would have lost handsomely....

Our country is thankful Sarah Palin will not run for president. Just when things look bad, there's a glimmer of hope.

She should have said, "After serious consideration and seeing that I had absolutely no chance of winning the primary and even less chance of winning the general election, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. "

Dang. Was hoping she would run so all the nut jobs votes would be consolidated to one destined-to-lose candidate.

I figured her purpose was to make any eventual GOP nominee for president to look good. I didn't think she'd drop out this soon.
