(CNN) - Sarah Palin, ending months of speculation, said Wednesday she will not run for president, either as a Republican or third-party candidate.
"This has been prayerfully considered," the former Alaska governor said on the Mark Levin radio program. "I can be on the right path without being a candidate."

Guess her handlers finally told her to pull the plug on running for President "We've bled all the money out of this venture, let's move on to the next"

I'm sorry to hear that Mrs Palin isn't running for president. I glad to see that as woman she is a strong person. I'm just about peace and love. I feel that are country will grow together. If they took the time out to worry about families. They're some poor families.
Understanding why is so much crime in are country fix the problem with parents, children etc.
Is anyone really surprised by this announcement. She kept her name out there for a long time and reaped the benefits of stardom. Maybe the news organizations will cover the announced candidates now.

She should have said, "After serious consideration and seeing that I had absolutely no chance of winning the primary and even less chance of winning the general election, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. "
She gets elected Govenor of Alaska, and then just quits to do a tour and write a book. . Yeah... thats putting country first.
