(CNN) - Sarah Palin, ending months of speculation, said Wednesday she will not run for president, either as a Republican or third-party candidate.
"This has been prayerfully considered," the former Alaska governor said on the Mark Levin radio program. "I can be on the right path without being a candidate."

Is anyone surprised? She has no substance ... only lobs verbal bombs and sound bites to incite riots and keep her name in the news ... it's all about her and not the country as she claims. She could have gained a lot more respect if she would have just come out and said she is not ready as Gov Christie recently announced. That would have been the mature thing to do, but Mrs. Palin has proven she has a lot of growing up to do.
Strung those fifteen minutes out as long as she could. Did anyone seriously think she would? She was trying to keep fame and fortune flowing until she absolutely had no choice but to finally put up or shut up. Please, please, let her shut up.
I for one am shocked that the woman who essentially lost the election for the GOPs in 2008 is not running for president under the GOPs in 2012.
But in a serious note, i truly can't stand her, obvioulsy she would never actually run ( unless her ignorance levels is equal to her obliviousness levels ), but she has too promote herself to make millions as a media personality / politician.
Although, I think I would have preferred an incompetent Vice President to an incompetent President.
Anyone who thought she would actually run does not understand something.
If she declares herself as a candidate, the money she collects has to be treated as 'Campaign Contributions', and not personal income. Its quite obvious from everthing she has done since she resigned as Governor of Alaska that all she is interested in is how much personal income she can produce.
She has been operating under the laws of PT Barnum (A sucker born every minute) since then.
She saw what happened to Michelle Bachmann, and she said, "Now , is not my time"...any Tea Bagger candidate will never win the primaries, exhibit "A" : Perry.

Of course she won't run. Everyone knows she can't handle accountability and scrutiny of her profound ignorance.

Sarah will be a better asset to the Republican Party by doing what she has been doing the last 3 yrs. and that's drumming up support for the Republican Party. Now maybe she and her family can have a bit of peace restored to their lives after 3 yrs. of blood, sweat and tears. No other candidate in our history has had their private lives put on display and torn apart like the Palins. I wish them well.....and oh, Katie..."what books do you read ?" Lame question.
At long last Palin makes the inevitable decision. Recent polls taken of Republicans showed little support for a run. But she certainly milked the possibility about as long as she practically could in order to command top-dollar speaking fees and book sales. She thinks of herself as a kingmaker in Republican politics. Time will tell. Many of us hope she will fade away, having found her one of the most divisive and inept public figures in modern memory.
