Washington (CNN) – House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said Sunday that he could issue subpoenas to the Justice Department this week in connection to a now-discredited federal gunrunning operation.
Speaking on "Fox News Sunday," Issa said that he wants a better understanding of who knew what, when about Operation Fast and Furious.

Hopefully Issa will also Subpoena Alberto Gonzalez and others from W's administration since this gun walking program initially began as Operation Wide Receiver in 2006.
It will probably be a waste of time. Beginning with the rich pardon holder has made such a history of lying that I doubt he can remember what the truth is.
Republicans have Iran-Contra, to cover-up. Let the finger pointing begin.
Before he starts issuing subpoenas, maybe he should tell us what laws were broken by trying to follow perpetrators to their nest.
This is exactly the man that you would want on the trail of justice, just look at his own life. Just another GOP publicity stunt.
This is worse that Watergate, nobody died in Watergate. Of course I expect the media to carry Obama's water again and this will get no attention because this will track straight to the White House.
If Obama did not have a Supoena issued to him then justice is not a system in the United States. He and his CZARS are puppets of George Soros who would sell his sold as he has already to the Nazi's, Socialist and now to the drug Cartels. Let Justice ring and it MUST START AT THE TOP.
Some politicians (maybe all of them) have no self respect. Wasn't this clown being investigated just a couple of months ago? What happened media? Not juicy enough of a story at that time?
someone should subpoena Issa for ethics investigations on his use of his committee's website to advance his anti Postal Service agenda, as well as his defrauding of investors in the sale of DEI.
