Giuliani says no to White House run

(CNN) - Rudy Giuliani made it official Tuesday. He's not running for president.

The former New York City mayor and 2008 Republican presidential candidate made his announcement at a Long Island Association event in New York State.

Giuliani's comments came one week after New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin both separately formally declared that they would not make bids for the GOP nomination.

Giuliani, who spent much of this year considering a possible run for the White House, said,"If it's too late for Chris Christie, it's too late for me."

Word of Giuliani's comments was first reported nationally by Politico.

Mr noun/verb/9-11 didn't stand a chance anyway. He's not pure enough according to the Taliban leaders. Now will we be spared the torture of seeing and/or hearing about this disgusting waste of humanity??

There are already several excellent Republican candidates. The idea now is to pick the best one, support that person and take 2012 elections by storm. Yes, that means House and Senate too. There is a lot of work to do in Washington to get this country back on track.

I'm no fan of Giuliani but there is no way he could get the nomination with the Tea Baggers controlling the GOP, no more than Christie could. It's not a question of being too late for either of them, it's simply that the new GOP has no room in it for moderates which in turn will and is the downfall of the GOP.

Rudy doesn't want Rudy to be President, Which brings the grand total of American voters who feel the same way up to about 300 million + 1.

Another ambulance-chaser down. Its disgusting this thrice-married liar who tried to push Bernie Karick to be Homeland Security Secretary would have the gall to even consider another White Hosue run, especially after his vaunted "Florida Strategy" paid such a poor return on investment.

Smart move. No one would vote for an adulterer with such low moral values. Besides he is making more money now on the speaking circuit. His latest speaking tour in Los Angeles is advertised for $1.95 per person. I love it.

Stop the presses! Rudy's not running for President! In other news, the following people announced today that they too will not be running for President: Paris Hilton, Ronald McDonald, and Edith Kowalski (Bingo chairman from Schenectady, NY).
