NEW YORK (CNNMoney) – Herman Cain has a plan to radically reform the nation's tax system and make things a lot simpler for taxpayers.
Problem is, it could end up adding to the deficit and shifting the tax burden away from the wealthy and onto the poor, according to some leading tax experts.

What the Cain tax plan does is ensure everyone has some skin in the game.
Herb needs to dump his Chilean model. Just because it works in a third world country, does not make it good for America.
his 9-9-9.....would be more believeable as a 9 inch pizza with 9 toppings for 9 dollars.....but what the heck, his solution fits on a bumper sticker and that's usually all it takes to convince voters that it will work.......however.....when people start to pay 9% on top of state sales tax of nearly 10%......9-9-9 will be a disaster for anyone that is living pay-check to pay-check.

They boo gay soldiers on national tv;
They cheer the record-breaking executions in TX;
They tell the unemployed it is their own fault they don't have a job;
They tell Christian voters to vote for evangelical Christians before voting for non-Christians;
They won't balance the budget with at least a little more revenue from the most wealthy.

let's see.......Cain is a Republican, he's wealthy, he's playing to the right wing of the GOP, he doesn't give a rat's (bleep) about the poor or middle class....so just WHO do you think his economic plan would favor?

Fact Check: Republicans have been on a mission to destroy America for a *generation*. In fact, two generations, for they have been on this quest for at least 30 years.
American earning $15,000/year would be devasted and suffer the highest tax increases, while those at the very top would languish in the biggest tax cuts. Those earning their incomes mainly through capital gains would love this plan.
The 9-9-9 plan would still mean that bus driver would pay a higher effective rate than hedge fund manager.

yes, the 9-9-9 tax will decimate the poor and middle class and destroy the economy, they would be better off leaving the U.S. altogether. a middle income person could easily end up paying nearly 30% in taxes. even more if they have a small business. that will kill jobs and everyone who depend on them.
