Jeb Bush issues Romney praise

(CNN) – Jeb Bush isn't ready to back a candidate in the 2012 GOP horserace, but he is "impressed" with Mitt Romney.

"I continue to be impressed with Mitt Romney's performance in these debates. He's cool, calm, collected. He's quick, he's agile," the former Florida governor told CNN's Piers Morgan Wednesday. "I think he could do well going up against President Obama in the fall if he's the nominee."

Bush, the son of former President George H.W. Bush and brother of former President George W. Bush, also acknowledged that his eventual endorsement might not hold the same importance as that of New Jersey Gov. Chris, who backed Romney Tuesday.

"I don't have as much weight behind me as Chris Christie but I'm getting up there," Bush said. "I'm going to wait. There's no urgency to this."

Not sure where Bush is coming from with his "cool, calm, quick, and agile" assesment of Romney. Of all the issues floating around the GOP lately, Mitt Romney seems to be the only candidate not interested in addressing any of the GOP issues, instead choosing to send his newly ordained bully-pulpit (Christie / Pawlenty) out to do the heavy work for him. Hardly impressive, Bush.

Nobody cares. Establishment GOPErs are all starting to line up behind Mittens because they know he's the only one with a shto in hell of comiong close to beating Obama...the rest are competely unfit for POTUS and too entrenched in playing their ideological mind games with the GOP base and Teatroll right wing fringe lunatics. Mittens is just a pandering corporate plutocrat vote wh-re, which the establishment recognizes is worlds better in the primary than, say, a religious fundamentaslist nutjob who has rewritten all of American history in her head or a bombasatic black dude who calls the entire black/minority community of voters in the US "brainwashed" and "racist." Establishment GOPers recognize the value in jumping only little sharks...not going Jaws style.

I do not have a problem with Jeb Bush.....I have a problem with Romney running this country!!! Reelect President Obama!!!! The only one that cares about the middle class and poor! How can the GOP/TEA Party vote down the Jobs bill. In the past they have always been for tax incentives, like cutting pay roll taxes, cutting taxes for small business, getting our Veterans back to work, and rebuilding our infra structure. But now they are against it why? They donot want to tax the rich....the job creators (garbage)....they are throwing the middle class and poor under the bus!!! Wake up America!!!!

"I don't have as much weight behind me as Chris Christie" That is very true. Most don't weigh as much as Christie. Also, I don't think America is ready for another Bush in the White House. We're stilll paying for the other two.

You cannot expect Jeb to support his brother's enemy, Rick Perry. For the Bushes, family goes pretty deep. "W" even waged an unnecessary unfunded war that cost us 5000 soldiers killed, hundreds of thousand Iraqi civilians killed, because Saddam tried to kill his daddy.

I vote based on the candidate and not party. If for none other than the behavior of this republican party it is quite obvious who they are trying to fool, I would NOT reward them with the Presidency. Rewarding them would embolden them to try this method again in the future (cause an people to believe that the country is in horrible shape). No way in H$!! I would vote for Romney or any other Republican for that matter.

Looks like Mittens has been kissing the neocon deathcult's ring. 99% of us want nothing to do with anything or anyone endorsed by any Bush family member or employee.

So now Romney has backing of: Cheney, Rove, Daniels (Bush $$ man) and Jeb. So a vote for Romeny is a vote for Bush! 8 years of lies that our sons and daughters have shed their blood for and now there is no job for them. No thank you!

Allow me to rephrase this please.

"I continue to NOT be impressed with Mitt Romney's performance in these debates. He's nervous, fidgety, calculating. He's slow, weird, he's looks like a statute,"
