(CNN) - Bill Clinton revealed his love for Lady Gaga Wednesday night, heaping praise on the Grammy Award-winning singer.
"She is the most talented person though, even if you're an old fogey like me" Clinton said on "The Late Show with David Letterman."
Gaga is scheduled to perform at an Oct. 15 party for Clinton at the Hollywood Bowl. But don't expect her to arrive wearing raw meat, as she's done in the past.
"In deference to my diet, she'll be meatless that night," Clinton said, referencing his heart-friendly diet.

Lady Gaga is very entertaining and talented. I am not surprised that he likes her! Her duet with Tony Bennett of Lady is a Tramp is fantastic. Tony even compared her to Elvis.

Lady Gaga works hard for a living. She's got talent. She is versatile and has made a place for herself in this world. There isn't much sense in trying to diminish her standing (just for a comment board poster's closed-minded opinion).
Bill Clinton's presidency saw the best economic years of my many-decades-long life. He's a great leader who put in at least a decade of his life 24/7/365 to make my life better – and I'm the better for it.
Give credit where credit is due. Let go of prejudices and ill-based opinions. Let people be the best they can be – stay away from repression.
