(CNN) -– Rep. Michele Bachmann’s presidential campaign spent nearly $2 million more than it raised in the third quarter, but was still left with more than $1 million in cash-on-hand funds, according to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission Saturday.
In total, Bachmann raised $3.9 million and spent $5.9 million. Her cash-on-hand total came in at $1.3 million.
Bachmann’s cash on hand reflects money received in previous quarters. Bachmann went into the third quarter with over $3 million in cash-on-hand funds.
The financial report also shows Bachmann’s campaign holding more than $500,000 in debt.
A recent CNN Poll of Polls showed 5% of Republican voters naming Bachmann as their preferred candidate.

Bachmann needs to get gas prices down to below $2.00/gallon pretty quick or she won't be able to keep that bus running.
She isn't the only wingnut whose campaign is an empty vessel taking on water before the real voting(and spending) even starts. Those straw polls are a sham to take the teabaggers' money.
she can always just tap into the government ag welfare money, put all those kids to work on the farm, maybe!
This woman talks about government spends and spending cuts, yet she cannot manage her budget. I will be happy to see her go broke and get out of the race. Oh, what a waste to tv time and publicity. Take Accounting 101 and then run for the biggest and most important office in this country
Is no one out there to tell Bachmann the truth. I do it though she didn't ask me! You won't be able to make it madam. Everything is on the wall. You better save the money and help those foster kids. Taking even 100 of them is better than using time and money in the bid you are going to regret very much!
Maybe she should start telling her donors to send less money in order to "stimulate" overall campaign donations. That will balance her budget in no time!
