(CNN) – Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney Tuesday scored a major endorsement in a crucial early voting state.
The former Massachusetts governor, who is making his second bid for the GOP nomination, won the backing of Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam.

"Mitt Romney is a tested conservative and a proven leader. With him in the White House, we can regain our standing abroad and repair our economy at home," said the former congressman who may in the future make a bid for Sunshine State governor.
Florida's become a major player in the battle for the GOP nomination. State Republicans will hold their primary on January 31, voting fifth in the primary and caucus calendar.

In Florida, we are suffering from a tropical depression, and it has nothing to do with the weather. We elected an unconvicted criminal for governor, an anchor baby for senator, and enough crazy republicans in the state house to put our state back 50 years. I miss the common sense of Charlie Crist.

And we all know the dangers that Florida represents. Remember the 2000 elections when someone completely unqualified like Bush was "selected" to be president and not elected thanks to Florida?
we just found out that 0.2% of jobs lost is because of regulations, and 30 percent is because of low demand. why is these repugs spilling their poison that regulations are killing jobs when regulations is not even 1 percent of jobs lost. hell the weather is much more cost of jobs lost than repugs talking points of regulations. lesson if these repugs keep playing political games with the people and dont try and do somthing serious to spur demand to get businesses hiring again, we are in way more trouble than i thought. we need to start modernizing our country to compete with the chinese the brazillians, and rising powers on our globe. private enterprize is not in the business of modernizing our country, they are in the business of making money, over seas, here, any where they sense money is. they are also in the business of cutting cost and consolidating at every corner. that means cheap labor which they wont find in america, because of our middle class. the war on our middle class is deathromental to america existance, because without our middle class who is going to support our housing industries, transportation industries, high sale items industries. the poor working class cannot afford it and the rich 3 percent only can live in 1 house which theyve had from the 50s. Hey wake up america.

Agriculture commissioner is a big endorsement? How? I mean, I'd prefer Romney over some of the other looney tunes the Republicans have running. But I don't see this as swaying that many voters.

The guy that passed and still stands behind universal healthcare for the jurisdiction he was "in-charge" of? That conservative?
Or the one that was pro-abortion before he realized that he wanted to add President to his resume? That Conservative?
Or the guy with 5 sons, each who came of adult age on a post 9-11 world where our brave young men were volunteering to fight for America`s safety, yet NONE of them chose to wear the uniform? NONE? Is that the conservative, this man is refeering to?
I must say this, at least Republicans try the same tactic within the Party as they do outside of it. Tell a LIE often enough and maybe a right-wing zealot, who hates Romney`s guts, will buy it.
