Obama travels for policy and fundraising, Republicans attack

(CNN) - It wouldn't be a presidential trip without criticism from Republicans, and President Barack Obama's visit to Nevada Monday is no exception.

The Republican National Committee and the Mitt Romney presidential campaign released web videos capitalizing on the national unemployment and high foreclosure rates in the Silver State.

Romney files for candidacy in New Hampshire

Concord, New Hampshire (CNN) – Greeted with elaborate fanfare and a hallway full of supporters, Mitt Romney filed for his candidacy in New Hampshire Monday, joking that "hopefully this time it will take."

Romney was accompanied by his newest big-name endorsement, former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu.

Forbes endorses Perry

(CNN) - Rick Perry's presidential campaign Monday touted Steve Forbes' endorsement of the Texas governor for the GOP nomination.

Forbes is a businessman, as well as editor and publisher of Forbes magazine. He is also president and CEO of its publisher, Forbes Inc.

Obama heads West to campaign, push jobs bill

Las Vegas (CNN) - President Barack Obama visits Las Vegas Monday, part of Western trip that will mix campaigning with presidential business - and an appearance on "The Tonight Show."

A campaign event was scheduled at The Bellagio hotel and casino on Monday afternoon. Obama then will meet with homeowners at a private residence and will deliver remarks, according to an official schedule released by the White House.

CNN: Cain 'flip-flops,' Bachmann says
Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann continued to hit rival Herman Cain's conservative credentials Sunday amid a recent dust up over comments he made about abortion. Bachmann said the remarks made earlier this week were further evidence of the businessman's "troubling" policy shifts.
