(CNN) - Michele Bachmann accused Rick Perry's presidential campaign Friday of a "stealth" political attack - a charge the Texas governor's campaign flat out denied.
"If Gov. Perry has something to say to me, he can come out to the debates and say it," Bachmann said in an interview with CNN. "But this is egg on the face unfortunately for the Perry campaign."

Washington (CNN) - The White House is ordering an outside review of all loans the Department of Energy made to clean energy companies. This comes in the wake of the decision to offer federal loan guarantees to the now-bankrupt solar company Solyndra.
In all, the White House will review loans that total $35.9 billion.

Davenport, Iowa (CNN) - At a Friday campaign event in Iowa, Michele Bachmann detailed two of her biggest issues with the Obama administration.
To make her point, the Minnesota congresswoman stated that a proposed rule change by the Justice Department would have kept the Watergate tapes from being disclosed. She also said that President Obama has not heeded the warnings of history in his dealings with Iran and by the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

Washington (CNN) - House GOP leaders announced Friday that they are laying the groundwork for Congress to issue a subpoena for internal White House documents regarding the decision to issue federal loan guarantees in 2010 to Solyndra, a solar energy company that has since filed for bankruptcy.
The House Energy and Commerce Committee will meet Thursday to consider a resolution authorizing the issuance of the subpoena.

"I don't know whether or not we're gonna forego any debates or not," Perry told reporters in Concord, New Hampshire, and joked about his notoriously lackluster debate performances. "Shoot, I'm gonna be a good debater before it's all over with."
