(CNN) – A cop arrived at the roadside wreckage of a June 1968 head-on collision in southern France, took one quick look at the Citroën's unresponsive driver and, according to one of the driver's friends, scrawled into the young man's American passport, "Il est mort" – "He is dead."
The man at the Citroën's wheel was Mitt Romney, who may have appeared dead but was very much alive - as is his bid today for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
I could care less what his faith is. I'm only concerned as to whether or not he can govern effectively. So far I am not convinced.

Oh, my. The melodrama is beyond funny. Thanks for the good laugh, CNN. And, while Mitt Romney may not "appear dead" this time around, he certainly appears confused - and often times dazed. I doubt, though, that it has anything to do with his 1968 car accident, or his Mormon faith, or his missionary visions - which ALL good Mormons are REQUIRED to fulfill if they want to climb above those three tiers of Mormon Heaven to obtain their own personal God-ness.
Instead of all these, Nation now needs to target all the Hotels for hidden fee. Write to Congressmen, I know these idiots are already sold out....shame, America, shame....Target these Hotels, you Occupied Wall Street....god bless....greed, greed, greed, by GOP thugs...Tea thugs...wake up, fight back...Obama2012....
It sure is interesting how the MSM has a keen interest in Romney's faith yet totally ignored Obama's 20 year stint with an anti-American preacher. And now we find out that Obama shares quite a few of the anti-American preachings an dgoes aroubd apologizing to the world.
I do not think anyone can say Romney's bid for President is still alive while more than 75% (republicans), have refused to board his train!

That's nothing compared to Gov. Perry's life long commitment to bigoted southern baptist preachers, with an "S". Rev. Wright was just one man with a chip on his shoulder. Rick Perry seems to know the whole entire clan of evangelical bigoted leaders.
@diridi: I've been reading your posts for a long time. I love your spirit. You go straight to the point, short and sweet. True, true.
As for this story on Herman Munster, what gives? The man was quoted as saying that he will say whatever he needs to say to win (see Mapface Perry for details?.
I couldn't care less about his beliefs, what I'm concerned with is his penchant for being on both sides of the fence in virtually every issue brought before him.
Obama 2012. Period. Seriously.
I don't think it is right to condemn someone for their religous beliefs. As long as they keep their beliefs to themselves (the Christian Bible encourages praying in private, not in public) and do not try to impose those beliefs on others, then more power to them.
