
Pella, Iowa (CNN) - On Tuesday, five Republican presidential candidates outlined their ideas to help the United States strengthen its manufacturing.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, Texas Rep. Ron Paul and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich spoke to a group of business leaders at the National Association of Manufacturers in Pella, Iowa. The group's Republican Presidential Forum on Manufacturing was held at the headquarters of the Vermeer Corporation, an Iowa-grown company that makes environmental, agricultural and construction equipment.

Washington (CNN) – Herman Cain's campaign says it raised more than $400,000 on Monday, a "clear vote of confidence from his supporters," after the story broke alleging he had been accused of sexual harassment while head of the National Restaurant Association.
"In the last 24 hours, the Friends of Herman Cain campaign has had the single best day of fundraising since the start of the campaign," Mark Block, Cain's chief of staff, said Tuesday night.

(CNN) – A woman who accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment believes the presidential hopeful is lying about the claims, her attorney said Tuesday night.
"She's been very upset about this since the story broke last Sunday, because Mr. Cain has been giving the impression she came out and made false allegations," lawyer Joel Bennett said on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360."

(CNN) – Mitt Romney and Herman Cain are tied at the top in the battle for Florida's Republican primary, according to a new poll. And a Suffolk University survey of Sunshine State voters also indicates that adding Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida to the GOP ticket would change the political landscape in the key battleground state.
According to the poll, 25% of registered Republicans in Florida say they support Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who's making his second bid for the White House, with 24% backing Cain, the businessman, former Godfather's Pizza CEO and radio talk show host. Romney's one point margin is well within the survey's sampling error.

Durham, New Hampshire (CNN) - Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman called for eliminating regulations on domestic energy production, funding research into new technologies and diversifying American energy sources in a policy speech Tuesday.
He spoke to a group of about 200 University of New Hampshire students and nearby residents. The remarks came after Huntsman toured the university's cogeneration plant, which converts landfill gas into energy to power campus buildings.

Washington (CNN) - I saw Herman Cain briefly today in the CNN Washington bureau. He had just wrapped up a lengthy interview with HLN’s Robin Meade.
The Republican presidential candidate appeared to be in a good mood despite all the uproar over allegations that he sexually harassed two women back in the 1990s when he was head of the National Restaurant Association here in Washington. He had answered all of Robin’s blunt questions, clearly eager to move on.
