Washington (CNN) - Oklahoma Republican political consultant Chris Wilson confirmed to CNN that he witnessed Herman Cain demonstrate inappropriate conduct toward a female employee while he led the National Restaurant Association. Wilson first made this charge Wednesday in an interview with KTOK, an Oklahoma radio station.
In that interview, Wilson-who is doing polling for a political action committee supporting Texas Governor Rick Perry's campaign but is independent of it–described an incident with Cain and a female employee.
"This occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City (Virginia) and everybody was aware of it," said Wilson, who was a consultant for the organization at the time, in the KTOK interview. "It was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact she left-everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up."
Wilson would not elaborate beyond his comments to the radio station. He has dismissed any notion that he commented on this for political reasons. He told CNN "I had nothing to do with leaking this in any way, and I've never discussed or shared this story with any of my clients – period."
In his description of the event to the radio station KTOK, Wilson said "I was the pollster at the National Restaurant Association when Herman Cain was head of it, and I was around a couple of times when this happened and anyone who was involved with the NRA at the time, knew that this was going to come up."
On the radio, he predicted "if she (the alleged victim) comes out and talks about it, like I said, it'll probably be the end of his campaign."

Unfortunately, for those of us with brains – this still won't be the end of Herman Cain. They MUST keep him around just a little while longer. They don't want the obvious to appear that they are racist. Look for Cain to be out of the picture in about a month.

NewsMax just announced that there is a third woman that has come forward accusing Cain of sexual harrassment while she was employed at the NRA. Could we see many more coming to the light? This is starting to sound like Tiger Woods.
Keep preaching personal responsibility but make sure you don’t have to take any for your own actions, yep sounds like a GOP sweetheart to me.

I hope this whole thing was not just a convenient distraction from the 9-9-9 plan and the clear message it was starting to send to the average American. That message was that people can get elected to the highest office in the land with promises of putting more burdens on the back of the middle class and poor.
Smaller government is code for small responsibility to the rich and smaller opportunity for everyone else.

No, what we're seeing is Cain getting vetted by the public and his competition. Period. If he's a sexist pig, then he's got to go. He maybe MAYBE would have survived this if he had manned up and came out with honest, forthright responses to the allegations. Instead, he played games and claimed not to remember and told lies. If you think people like the Ayatollah Limbaugh and Ann "Madame's Apple" Coulter helped him by going into a public defensive tyrade mode and saying things like "our blacks and better than their blacks," then you're delusional. The wingnuts in the GOP/Teatroll army can enjoy knowing that they are as much to blame for their bombastic, bigotted, blowhard response to this issue as Squirmy Hermy is for doing it and then lying about it in the first place.

I'm female, I worked for the NRA and Herman Cain harassed me too. (Not really, but not many on this site appear to be interested in truth and facts anyway.)
I heard the replay of Charles Krauthammer questioning Cain. Cain stated that when liberals attack him, they have a racist agenda. On the other hand, if conservatives are attacking him, the attacks are not racially motivated. This is absurd. Krauthammer asked Cain to offer proof, which of course Cain could not. Cain appears to not be prepared and answers questions on the fly. He can't seem to give a straight forward answer which will help us voters determine his positions on the issues. It is shocking Cain is currently the GOP frontrunner.
Abel's revenge on Cain is almost complete.
So much for the Republican answer to Obama. Coulter and Limbaugh should go the way Cain goes now. Out of sight and out of mind. It wsn't the leftwing that did their boy in; it was one of their own... they are now turning on each other. We all know this was going to happen sooner or later.
