Cain rejects latest allegations of sexual harassment

Washington (CNN) - Herman Cain on Tuesday vehemently denied all sexual harassment allegations against him and said he had no memory of the first accuser to publicly describe claimed misconduct by the Republican presidential hopeful.

"They simply didn't happen. They simply did not happen," Cain insisted of the accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior, and at least one incident of alleged sexual groping, when he was head of the National Restaurant Association from 1996 to 1999.

The lawyer's opening statement is EXACTLY why so many women do not come forward in situations like this! For that lawyer to state that these women should have, in effect, kept QUIET, like coming forward means they're making it up? Or, it's OK for HIS client, Herman Cain, to speak all HE wants on this subject, but they're supposed to sit quietly by and accept whatever the GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB continues to put to the press and public!

"He said accuser Sharon Bialek's contentions are pushed by the "Democrat machine.""

It amazes me that people try to push this off on Democrats, not that we are above leaking some info, we're not...but the timing is all wrong...this wouldn't have come out for at least another 8 months if we had our way. Stop blaming the Dems, we are actually rooting for you Herman! We want you to win the primary, so Obama can kick your a$$ in the main event.

You know, I am so sick of this foolish system we live in and the foolish people we live among. It is a shame that the US gov't does everything it can to brainwash and fool the citizens of this country and I feel embarrassed for all the naive people we have in this great country that simply believe everything the gov't tells them without questioning anything including the "truth" behind 9/11 which the gov't made every effort to cover it and hide the truth. Why would any gov't hide the truth behind 9/11 is it was in fact the, what so called, "the enemy" attacked us? Makes no sense, does it?

We don't need a new president, vice president, or a congressman, we need a whole new god damn system, a whole new America free of lobbyists and free of AIPAC. Wake up people, the democratic and republican party does not represent a choice or a democracy, they are simply a faceplate, a game, a fake system designed to keep us busy and divided among ourselves so that the gov't can hide its illegal operations that are strictly designed to harm the people of this country and strictly designed to benefit the people of an illegitimate state in a different spot in this world. The US gov't isn't serving the American people, they are serving the people of another illegitimate country that seems to control our gov't. We demand to take back our America from those perpetrators.

Tisha, why do people always have to make it about race. He doesn't have white people anymore fooled than he does what I have to presume from your remarks is a black woman. He's a jerk whatever the color.

His wife hasn't seen that part of him? That's his verification of innocence?

How many of those ministers wives ever saw them with those little boys?

How many times did that Coach's wife see him with those disabled boys?

The man is a very good liar.

    1. He's blaming the Democrat machine. 2. His wife is a Democrat. 3. He seems to remember more of the second woman identified than he claimed to have previously remembered. 4. Attacking Bialek for bankruptcy – when the whole reason she came to him was to ask his help in getting her a job – kinda what lobbyists do – won't help Cain.

I love how Cain keeps telling everyone what the 'american people' think, and it doesn't sound like what I think, or anyone I know thinks....

I would challenge straight-up the accuser but gotta be
careful to not come across as arrogant. He should point blank sue the lady for her comments. Well he would do that if he was innocent....

If Herman Cain was a Democrat we'd never have seen this.

If Herman Cain was not running a strong REPUBLICAN campaign, we'd have never have heard about it.

It's the same as when the Left tried to smear Clarence Thomas some years back. The only thing the Democrats hate more than a conservative white person is a conservative black person. And they'll lie, cheat and steal to keep him from succeeding. The racism on the Left is staggering.

And yet blacks keep voting for Democrats. Sad, that.

    None of this is relevant.
Cain could be a "caught on tape child molester," yet republicans would choose him over the democrat!
The fact is that republicans are morally bankrupt, and have no good ideas other than to do the opposite of what President Obama wants them to do.
What I can't figure out is how the republicans get as much support from middle class and poor white males. Why are they supporting the republicans who want to make it harder for their kids to go to college, and who want to create a society of a few winners who take all, and the rest can just suffer? Are they worried that if they somehow hit the lottery and end up rich, that they will want it the way the republicans are trying to take it?
    I just don't get it.

Let's see, last week he accused the Perry campaign, but today it is the "Democratic Machine". Rubbish. The whole thing stinks – time to bow out Mr. Cain.

When is he just going to shut up & drop out? Your run is over, Cain. Deal with it. Whether these are legitimate claims or not, you're finished.

I just don't believe the woman that came out in the front of the cameras. Most women who have been sexually harassed find it embarrasing to talk about and this women smiles, calls him by his first name, calls his wife by her first name, and think we should believe her. I think she will get paid once he steps down if she has not received an envelope already. While I don't believe everything he said this woman hurts all women who have been sexually harrased.

Quite a few US presidents fooled around on their wives. The press always assumed it had nothing to do with the presidency and looked the other way. Then came the Clinton impeachment. The GOP made infidelity the ultimate measure of a president. Now it has come back to haunt them. What went around has finally come around.

I have listened intently to all of the statements made by Mr. Cain and have concluded that he is a pathological liar who does not have the insight to realize that he is accountable for his actions. If I'm right, he will continue to deny deny deny even when clear evidence is produced by other women coming forward, credit card records from restaurants or hotels during that time, phone records or anything else. He is actually a very scary person and becoming more so all the time. As for the statute of limitations, time is not relevant. In situations of sexual assault or harassment, memory of these events does not fade.

It is awful ! The media decided on a tabloid presidential race. Whether Herman Cain is guilty or not of the accusations ,are for the COURTS, the Judicial System not for the media to decide. We have very serious problems in our country that need to be addressed – let us hear from the candidates. It is a CIRCUS -Cain on a SEX TRAPEZE , Romney on a RELIGIOUS TRAPEZE. What is the problem ? We need to SOLVE VERY SERIOUS PROBLEMS like our bankrupcy , for example. Please STOP THE CIRCUS .

"Cain: Sexual harassment 'simply did not happen'"

It didn't? So should we add "Cain sexually harrassing multiple REPUBLICAN women" to the GOP/Teatrolls' "List of Stuff That Simply Don't Exist" right under climate change, evolution and separation of church and state?

Hermain Cain is guilty, he is done for. Once again a right wing conservative trying to free themselves from other conservative but falling back into the group, fitting in nicely. He reminds me of Sanford running off to South America, or Arnold fathering another child. He is just another politician. For someone to claim they are christian they sure lie alot. Just because you will be forgiving doesn't mean you should keep doing so. Hypocrite.
