Senate passes jobs bill to help veterans

Washington (CNNMoney) - Heading into Veterans Day, the Senate unanimously passed a bill to help unemployed veterans seeking jobs as well as federal contractors facing a new tax burden in 2013.

The Senate voted 95-to-0 to pass the first and so far only piece of President Obama's jobs package to get out of the chamber. The House is expected to take up the bill and pass it next week.

Practically NOTHING is getting out of the DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED Senate. Those DO NOTHING Democrats lead by DO NOTHING LOSER Harry Reid have done nothing all year. Of course, dishonest Obama is out there spewing lies about a do nothing congress when the only do nothing is the DEMOCRAT SENATE.

If this country EVER hopes to recover and get the economy going again, it will need to purge as many Democrats as possible in the COngress and flush Obama down the hopper with them.

You are truly delusional if you don't know the reason for that. Hint: Your GOBP deathcult blocks virtually everything the Dems try to do in the Senate.

If our country can ever recover from the republican economic disaster under Bush, we need to purge as many republicans as possible in the congress by flushing them down the crapper like we did in 2008

The reason nothing is getting out of the Senate is because the House is giving them nothing to work with. The Right is trying to change the reality of the situation they were instrumental in creating instead of dealing with the problems, and sending a host of bills that focus more on a Koch Brothers/Family Research Council wish list than anything that has a prayer of making it into law. The House has no intention of solving anything, since they lack the means, capacity or will to make it happen. John Boehner, who is the least effective Speaker in modern times, has utterly failed to get anything substantive done. Vote them out, and get people who know how to work and want to work.

Would you please stop repeating the nonsensical, right wing lies and disinformation that you hear on the radio?

Nothing is getting ouf of the DEMOCRATICALLY controled Senate because of a clause in the US Constitution that defines filibuster as a mechanism to allow a minority party, group, or individual to block passage of bills for indefinite periods of time. Those votes that have come to the Senate floor failed because of the Republican filibusters.

You mean they aren't sending them blank checks to implement the Democrats leftist agenda like Pelosi did for two years??? OF COURSE! That is why the American people sent them there in 2010. But don't worry, 2012 will see the complete resolution to the problem when the rest of the Democrats get sent packing. 2010 was just a beginning.

The resolution to the problem will be the GOP House folding its tent and going home, like the circus it is. I've never heard of a legislature that had a 9% approval rating, but, if the House gives them nothing to work with, what can the Senate do? Of course, if we revert back to what we had for 6 years under bush, we could have unfunded mandates, wars off the book, massive deregualtion and tax cuts in wartime for people that produce a net gain of 2 million jobs in 8 years: wow, let's go back to that formula! It worked so well the first time! I honestly feel the Rightie bloggers feel if they lay enough crap on the truth, something beautiful will grow. Unfortuantely, like everything else they touch, it stinks, and the 1% laugh all the way to the bacnk as they send their money out of the country and our debt to China.

Hey crazyman (Democrat (sic) Party . . . ), your GOBP deathcult is so obstructionist, it would probably oppose a bill to increase the flower budget for Arlington Cemetery by $100.
