Obama pushes trans-Pacific trade deal at APEC

Honolulu, Hawaii (CNN) - President Barack Obama, in Hawaii for a weekend economic conference, said Saturday that leaders of nine nations have agreed on the "broad outlines" of a trans-Pacific free trade agreement.

The United States has been negotiating with Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Vietnam, Chile and Peru to develop the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which officials have said could eventually expand to include other nations.

After reading all the comments it is mind boggeling how many idiot people we have. They must all be repos. Of course this kind of trade help provide jobs you boobs.. And it was not about China. After Bush spending most of his presidency at the ranch you really think this is a vacation for Obama. You really must be nutso. Instead of just looking for a reason to write stupid remarks why don't you try researching a little about foreign trade and what it does for out economy here.

NAFTA, SAFTA and now TPP, equal trade is needed. My city has been distroyed by these trade agreements. I have witness a well functioning city into nothing but empty buildings and its sad. When will real elected officials will understand this. They can't and haven't lived in a small dying town. Now healthcare is being targeted by this Hospital consumer assessment and healthcare provider law that will only pay the hospitals a certain reimbursement depending on opinions. This should be called Death of human caring. Small hospitals will close. "Unless emergency cases only across the country" I think government officials would understand about the need for hospitals. This is one of my personal agendas for my next President. I would like to ask one of the canditates about how they feel about this?

While America is mired in debt and other serious problems, your president goes nation hopping, AGAIN! So much for transparency and willingness to dig our country out the hole that we find ourselves in. A number of important issues will be decided while your clueless president is gallivanting across the glove. Some decisions may need to be flown out to wherever he finds himself for his signature!?

Is this just bad planning on the administration's part, or done on purpose?

America, get REALLY ready for 2012!
